★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bello il borgo merita una visita, molto carina anche la rocca, bella la mostra all'interno.
 The village is beautiful and worth a visit, the fortress is also very nice, the exhibition inside is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La storia ci dice che la maestosa Rocca venne progettata da Angeluccio di Ceccolo natio di Fratta, (antico nome di Umbrtide) nel 1374.
La struttura venne terminata nel 1389 da Alberto Guidalotti .
Perugia che governava il territorio intendeva così proteggere l'importante località dale continue scorrerie di briganti e quant'altro.
Eventi bellicosi, devastazioni, prese di possesso dei vari signori perugini, si ricordano i Baglioni, i Montefeltro ... trovò finalmente una quiete apparente sotto lo Stato Pontificio....

History tells us that the majestic fortress was designed by Angeluccio di Ceccolo, a native of Fratta, (ancient name of Umbrtide) in 1374.
The structure was finished in 1389 by Alberto Guidalotti.
Perugia, which governed the territory, thus intended to protect the important locality from continuous raids by brigands and so on.
Warlike events, devastation, taking possession of the various Perugian lords, remember the Baglioni, the Montefeltro ... finally found an apparent quiet under the Papal State ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Merita da sola la visita ad Umbertide....la rocca ospita mostre di arte contemporanea in un contesto veramente unico.
Visuale dalla terrazza veramente stupenda.
Costo 5 euro, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena ...
The visit to Umbertide alone is worthwhile .... the fortress hosts contemporary art exhibitions in a truly unique context.
The view from the terrace is truly stunning.
Cost 5 euros, but it's absolutely worth it ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il paese storico è veramente bello da visitare perché offre anche un itinerario pedonale unico nel suo genere che circonda il paese lungo un incantevole corso d'acqua che sfocia in un fiume..vale la a pena di visitare il paese ed il museo !!
The historic town is really nice to visit because it also offers a one-of-a-kind pedestrian itinerary that surrounds the town along an enchanting stream that flows into a river .. it is worth visiting the town and the museum !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stopped here merely as a meeting point to see some friends later at night, however the Rocca is a lovely addition to the scenery. Wish I had more time to see it during a more busy hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible building, definitely worth a visit. They could make more of this attraction. To get the most out of if (and climb to the viewing area) we had to pay €5 to go into an art exhibition.
