E	Emilio Bellofiore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Voto complessivo: 5½ su 10 Quando si va ad Amatrice le aspettative sulla amatriciana sono altissime e di conseguenza anche quelle di sbagliare qualcosa da parte di chi la prepara e la delusione di chi la consuma. Il mio giudizio personale è il seguente: buona ma un po' troppo saporita. L'amatriciana si sa, i componenti che la compongono hanno un sapore forte. Quindi, se potessi dare un consiglio sarebbe quello di mettere meno sale nell'acqua di cottura. Come secondo piatto ho scelto un arrosto misto e anche qui il protagonista principale è il sale. Soprattutto i due arrosticini. Se dovessi fare il confronto con il precedente Hotel Ristorante Roma, preferirei di gran lunga quest'ultimo citato che ahinoi non esiste più. Overall rating: 5½ out of 10 When you go to Amatrice the expectations on the amatriciana are very high and consequently also those of making a mistake on the part of those who prepare it and the disappointment of those who consume it. My personal opinion is the following: good but a little too tasty. The amatriciana is known, the components that compose it have a strong flavor. So, if you could give one piece of advice, it would be to put less salt in the cooking water. As a second course I chose a mixed roast and here too the main protagonist is salt. Especially the two kebabs. If I had to make the comparison with the previous Hotel Ristorante Roma, I would much prefer the latter mentioned which alas no longer exists.
V	Vittorio David on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un antipasto, due primi, un contorno, pane, acqua: 40€ Buona la pasta, condita e ben mantecata, porzione sufficiente ma non abbondante. Servizio rapido, il cameriere è stato molto cortese. Dell'antipasto era buona la coratella mentre affettati e fagioli sembravano usciti gli uni da una busta del supermercato e gli altri da un barattolo (non dico che lo fossero, dico che avevano quel sapore), le due bruschette olio e sale francamente un po' deprimenti. In tutta onestà non si capisce perché dovrebbe costare quei 3€ in più per un primo rispetto a tutti gli altri ristoranti sulla piazza, poi ognuno è ovviamente libero di attribuirsi il valore che vuole ed è giusto così, ma non ci tornerei. An appetizer, two first courses, a side dish, bread, water: 40 € Good pasta, seasoned and well creamed, sufficient portion but not abundant. Quick service, the waiter was very courteous. The offal was good for the appetizer while the cold cuts and beans seemed to come out of a supermarket bag and the others from a jar (I'm not saying they were, I mean they had that taste), the two bruschetta with oil and salt frankly a little depressing. In all honesty it is not clear why it should cost those 3 € more for a first course than all the other restaurants on the square, then everyone is obviously free to attribute the value they want and that's right, but I wouldn't go back.
