β β β β β We stopped here for a quick bite after a day in Assisi because people were getting hangry. The food was decent, not impressive but not super expensive. The red house wine was the worst we had the entire trip, so dont bother ordering that.

β β β β β We had a great dinner at Il Menestrello. We had melon and raw ham for starters, great pizza for mains (Pizza Funghi and Pizza Quatro Fromaggi) and delicious Millefoglie and Tiramisu for dessert. Topped of with espresso.
And of course we had water and wine with this great pizza dinner.

β β β β β I strongly recommend truffle taliatelle. Pizza margherita was lack of cheese topping, so I thought they would rather raise the price and increase the ingredients for richer flavor.
They can customize cooking for you or your kids, for which my kid could get her tomato penne. However it was a little bit cold, which was disappointing. Taste was good though.
Having said that, Iβd like to thank all lovely staffs for their quickness, politeness and honesty.

β β β β β I'm not a pizza eater. This restaurant changed my mind. Very thin crust pizzas with great toppings. I also tried a pasta dish. Good house wine too.

β β β β β Delicious food, good service, knowledgable sommelier, medieval interiors, very good value for money, dinner for 4 with a bottle of good wine for 85$ is very cheap, consider itβs a restaurant

β β β β β Most restaurants closed when I went to Assisi so i just tried this place and it was so nice but there's no pizza menus(I guess it's temporary because there are few tourist at that time due to the pandemic or not the touristic season)
I had pasta with one bottle of beers
So delicious and cheaper that i expected
I'll come again if i visit to Assisi
