P	Pablo Gómez-Olmedo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was just ok but the service was poor. It took them 1.5h to serve us. We ordered gamboni (king prawns) and oysters as starter but they run out of oysters and the gamboni were mediocre. The pasta was ok (you can find way better pasta in Ortigia tho) and we didn’t order any desserts because we didn’t want to have breakfast here. If you want to have dinner in less than 2h avoid this restaurant
A	Andy L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The quality and freshness of the seafood was excellent. They served some of the best calamari I've ever eaten. Important to note that you just get what is written on the menu (i.e. if you want vegetables, salad or a carbohydrate with your meal you need to order it separately). I recommend the raw fish starter - so fresh some of the shellfish was still moving! Was a little bit on the expensive side (12 EUR for a starter - on a side plate).

In the menu they say in small print that a change of 2.5 euros will be changed for “bread and cover” (in Italian pan y coperto). Which means bread and cutlery! Which is incorrectly translated!! He was extremely annoying, rude even when I tried to explain that “bread and cover” means nothing related to cutlery. He added that no one has ever mentioned this! I never got the bread though and still had to pay for it! He said he would give me a discount of 1.5 euros! This was the minimum as I DID NOT GET BREAD! The owner tried to threat me to charge the whole 2.5 euros if I kept saying how I didn’t agree with it (was it because I am a foreign woman? Would he have done the same to an Italian men?)! I ordered pasta al mare (pasta with seafood) which took half an hour and I wasn’t going to complain, but I did after I learned about the 2.5 euros fee. The owner told me that half an hour for my food was an “express service”!!!! Outrageous! I only ordered one main dish! Pasta with seafood in it!!!! The restaurant was empty!!!! Inside + outside there were only 6 tables occupied! The food was below average. Nothing special at ALL!! DO NOT GO! There are loads of better places in Siracusa UPDATE AFTER THE RESTAURANT REPLY: they were rude when I was trying to explain the issue. They were not understanding nor nice.. they are just trying to make it less bad and replied my comment but they don’t care. The owner was rude and DID NOT CARE!

B	Bex Colwell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very slow and below average. Took almost 2 hours to get our food, had to ask for bread, drinks took ages. They were busy, but still... Waitress was lovely! We ordered several sides: salad (a plate of undressed lettuce and tomatoes). Bruschetta-2 measly slices of what i can only imagine used to be bread. Cheese plate-small slices that were probably cut days before. Grilled vegetables-absolutely free of any inspiration or flavour. And all way above average price. To be fair, it seems to be a fish restaurant. However... There are so many better restaurants in Ortigia.

S	Sicily Experiences on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it was an authentic Siracusa trattoria, but now with the new owners is something more, I’ve been there with my friends and we had an amazing Sunday lunch. I can recommend with no reserve to anyone who is visiting Siracusa, for lunch/dinner or pre-dinner
