★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Still here as I write this quick review. Wonderful dinner, lovely dessert with complimentary free drink. Service was brilliant; the owners, who also took our orders, were kind and accommodating. Love this place! Beautiful location; a restaurant favoured by locals as well as tourists like me. A must in Syracuse!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, first of all: they serve carbonara with ONION and CREAM which is a disgrace for Italian cuisine. But we did eat here anyway. We ordered mixed grilled meat, mixed grilled seafood, mussels, fried calamaris and shrimps, mixed salad and baked potatoes. The meat was BONE DRY, the fish was BONE DRY, fried shrimps (frozen) where tasteless and calamaris were chewy. I must say that mussels were pretty good and potatoes were excellent, although it was not enough to leave us satisfied with the dinner. I do not recommend eating here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and local cuisine! The 8 euro house wine is perfectly drinkable but on the sour side so maybe consider "splurging" for something slightly more expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i went there bcs of the many good revieuws...but for me it was disapointing...the owner was not very comunicative...pasta ok...glas of wine not...grappa 6 euro...and no official bill at the end ..
there are much better places here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ must go! local food with fresh ingredients.the house appetizer blows ur mind away, pasta to die for. as a plus toilet super clean. just outside the bridge to ortigia. prices ok. better reserve to be sure u get a table. Fabio the owner is also entertaining and willing to recommend the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely traditional restaurant with kind, attentive owner. Great value. I have eaten here three times - last time I had pork shank with potatoes, so large I could not finish it. I was given free bruschetta and dessert - limoncello with liquorice. Glass of wine and water - for a total of 22 euros.
