★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another first class experience in Firenze. If you area foodie, not just a pizza and pastry pundit can recommend Frescobaldi. They open at 7:00pm. The wait staff is friendly, efficient and attentive. The atmosphere elegant and comfortable. I highly recommend the calamari with black cabbage tomato and capers for a starter. The tagliata with porcini mushrooms was prepared perfectly medium rare and the black truffle fries second to none. The pappardelle with meat ragu is also quite tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food we ordered was very average. The lobster pasta was not the best, and neither was the ossobuco and burrata. Best part of our meal was the tiramisu - I would go back just for that and maybe to enjoy the outdoor seating. Otherwise, the food is nothing to write home about ! And there are many, many other restaurants that had much better food at better prices so this was a miss for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Servers inexperimented, too long waiting time (were proposed a desert, said no, but server gave us the menu but after 20 mn waiting we had to call him again to say « no dessert pls, but bring us the bill »… never came back…). Food below average despite appearence (Gnocchis with duck meat, home made?), osso bucco completely tasteless, fish over cooked and salty…).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the loveliest restaurants on the Piazza della Signoria in Florence just next to the Uffizi. The cuisine is excellent and the service is outstanding, kind and first class. We loved this venue so much that we came back 2 times.
