★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic location in the heart of Florence, right in Piazza Della Signoria - and within short walking distance to all the major sights. Our room had an incredible view overlooking Palazzo Vecchio and the Duomo was visible on the other side.
However, noise carries easily in the halls of these apartments and we were awoken many times by noisy guests checking in or doing laundry. The room could also use a few updates as the bedding was not in great condition and we were eaten alive by mosquitos at night despite keeping the windows closed. Finally, check-out was very early (10 am) and yet the cleaner came by even earlier than that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The biggest selling point for this hotel is the location. It is in the middle of the historical downtown and easy walking distance from all the key points of interest.
While there is no staff stationed in the hotel/apartments, they were very responsive via email/phone, and incredibly helpful.
However, upon arrival the place was not the cleanest (dust, stray hairs on our folded towels, etc.). There was so much soap buildup in shower and wood rot. They do not even provide soap for the shower--the lowliest 1-star motel can manage that.
Ultimately, while this is a great location there is no money being put into proper cleaning & maintenance. Of the vast quantity of hotels all with similarly great locations, Palazzo Uguccioni does not stand out and your money & time would be better spent elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ HORRIBLE experience!!! My family and I booked this apartment for my moms 70s birthday, but due to covid we had to cancel our flights and therefore our booking. Although we informed the property one week in advance and attempted to rebook for another date, they will NOT help us or provide a credit! They don't even reply to messages, they just ignore you. This has been a terrible experience worsened by rude and inconsiderate people that just want money. If I could give 1 star I would. Book something with a decent cancelation policy, because this property does not care about you.
