★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're going there, make sure you are not in a hurry.
We have booked a table for lunch and gave up after 45 minutes of waiting for somebody to look after us. It was quite surprising to see how overwhelmed both waitresses were with the few tables, which were occupied (~20 pax in total).
When leaving, we got a friendly 'grazie, arrivederci' at least. Kind of like we were doing the girls a favour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took a detour from Taormina to Cefalu just to stop here for lunch. Good mountain affair, we had truffle pasta, mushroom soup, pork ribs and local lamb... all really good and reasonably priced. Great service and dining environment. (Only complaint I have is the 90s English music) but then again I’m not here for their CD collection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been surprised.. We wanted to sit outside.. No problem they put a table outside just for us. The service is excellent and very friendly. The food was extremly good.....thanks for the 2 hours we could be your guests. and thanks to have over hours just because of us

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant was good. The food was well prepared and the service was friendly. The restaurant was a bit cold on the evening that we visited, probably because the weather had not been great the days before. Unfortunately they did not seem to be able to heat the place up sufficiently as it is a very big space. The interior is interesting as it is an old winery with the original press still in place. We could not pay by card because of a problem with their card machine. They allowed us to leave without paying and return the next day to complete our payment. I think this shows a lot of trust and speaks well for the owners!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The ambiance was fantastic and the look of the restaurant was great. But that was only surpassed by the incredible appetizer. We had the regional specialty appetizer which consisted of four courses for only €15 and two of us were close to full after eating one appetizer full of delicacies. And the other courses were great too so this place is highly recommended.
