this way you can try more seafood, as all of it is really well prepared and super fresh! monopoli is a true fishing town and anybody who would dare to not serve the daily catch here would probably be chased out of town immediately, haha!
PS: god bless the 3 amigos on my plate, they faded straight to heaven in such a fantastic tomato sauce!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this little jewel by chance, in a Monopoli really full of fancy and cozy restaurants and bars. To be fair, most of the places we visited were quite amazing, not only food, but also service, quality, hospitality and price. But, this restaurant deserves a special mention. All was great, but they deserve an extra mention as the staff was extra friendly and welcoming. The chef spent some time with us, and we greatly enjoyed the evening. Grazie e bravi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there with a recommendation of our hotel and it was a great surprise. We ordered the fried little fish and pasta with wine. Very cheap and sooo good. The staff was nice and helpful I hope we will some day return there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and the place is nice. I would have given it 4 stars, however the staff’s rude attitude, total lack of respect (one of them even raised her voice, when I asked why is food taking so long), made me rethink my review. So be prepared for unwelcoming employees. In the end we were told the POS is not working, and when we refused to pay cash, suddenly the POS was working :) go only if needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not okay, we ordered the pacchiere with 1/2 lobster, which was (one of) the most expensive dish on the menu. Therefore you would expect to get some lobster meat, but instead we both got an empty shell of half a lobster, as can be seen in the picture which was taken during my meal when I turned the shell over. If you wanted to get some lobster meat, you had to get it from the sciccors and legs, but that is quite impossible without equipment. No waiter asked once if everything was okay, not during dinner, when asking for the bill (which even took quite some time to get) or when paying. One extra star, because they pacchiere itself with the pasta sauce were okay, but not worth €25,- with an empty lobster shell.
