★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am fascinated by the comments on this restaurant... our lunch was perfect. Exactly what you would expect from a italian trattoria! Not excepting cash is totally understandable, they would not be the first restaurant in Italy to refuse! Over all fresh sea food, fresh pasta, amazing recommandation concerning the wine of the region and kind service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor food choices in the menu. Only see bass was good from our order- that's why I gave the star. My son ate chicken “cutlet”, the quality of which was probably worse than the lowest-quality fast food places, breaded, sole-like, tasteless, taken out of a deep freezer, after which he had big stomach problems. They do not accept credit cards unless you expressly ask them before order food. Prices do not match the quality. Definitely that was bad choice for lunch in Monopoli for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were addressed to this place bay the postman, someone Who should know well the area, but at the end we were quite disappointed. The choice of the menu isn’t so wide and the food in general wasn’t so good, the fried fish wasn’t so tender and the pasta with seafood was too watery with absolutely no taste of fish. Even if in a tourist place. We expect quality at the right price, here We got no acceptable quality with an overpriced bill.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful and friendly wait staff, with very short waiting times for a Friday night. I had a huge bowl of excellent steamed mussels, burnt wheat pasta with shrimp tartare, and a fried seafood platter. My burnt wheat pasta was excellent, with fresh tomatoes and Al dente pasta, and the mixed seafood platter was a delight, with everything cooked to perfection: the calamari was not too chewy, the shrimp was fresh, and the fish was tender and sweet. Bonus tip: try out the grilled octopus, as well! We will be coming back! ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and service here are OK, but not as nice as other nearby restaurants. We had the risotto (pictured). The house wine is quite inexpensive. We dined at several area restaurants and this was our least favorite. Still, it was OK, just nothing special.
