I can't speak to the food or what's it like to stay at the hotel. We had a couple hours in Positano and used some of that time to visit the rooftop terrace. The terrace has a great view of Positano and it provides a photo op that will let you take in part of Amalfi. The drinks are okay, but you'll pay almost 20 EUR for each one. I suppose it would make sense if you're staying at the hotel because it seems to be a high end. The service was okay as well.

Ristorante Adamo Ed Eva Positano was one of the restaurants recommended by our Airbnb host. We were tired after a mind boggling day of driving the Amalfi coastline and after a rest we headed out. We didn’t even bother to look at reviews, we just chose Adamo Ed Eva because it was close and had a view that another recommended place did not. Well, we were greeted by Gianni and Carlo and we’re treated to a lovely night, actually the best one we’ve had since arriving in Italy a week ago. Their recommendations were perfect and the table service was impeccable. They were happy to engage with us as we asked questions about the menu, and about the area. We even shared with each other about kids and grandkids, a really special night. The food was brilliant. Period. Tuna tartare that was to die for. Tomahawk steak that made you want to gnaw the bone. Spiny lobster and pasta that was divine, though next time I would ask the chef to do some of the harder work of the claws/legs for me and leave me to handle just the tail. The lemon gelato and tiramisu were a delicious finish. Thank you Gianni and Carlo et al for the wonderful night.

Upscale restaurant with amazing views. Our server was kind and attentive. Food was amazing, well worth the price. I had the ravioli with lemon and ricotta cheese stuffing. Much better than my partner’s meal in my opinion. My only comment would be that the architecture doesn’t fully open up so that the view isn’t visible from all tables. I’m not sure if it’s because we came at lunch and they use the smaller dining area, but the best tables along the edges had reservations.

The service is the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars, the staff are fantastic. However the food was just terrible, shockingly bad. A classic touristic trap. The oysters (which I usually love) were so bad I couldn’t even swallow them, the pizza we ordered was the strangest thing ever. I also went for a meatball pasta, the meatballs were so dry and the sauce wasn’t good either. The drinks were ok. We were brought a strange cold tuna meatball with breadcrumbs on it to begin, it was so bad... I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. But thank you to the staff for being so lovely.

We were lucky to get a seat outside with a beautiful view overlooking Positano, however I think these views are limited for the majority of the restaurant. Unfortunately for the expensive prices, food portions are incredibly small. Our gnocchi dish had 3 little prawns and 7 pieces of gnocchi. Unless you get a table with a view on a nice day, the food is not worth the price tag.

Great food with a great view of position. The staff was very friendly and gave us the best seat on the roof terrace Definitely book in advance to get the table with an unobstructed view of positano

Possibly the best restaurant we’ve ever visited - service before and after arrival, staff, food, and the setting with the views: flawless! I booked a dinner for my partner’s birthday, we got a table with the best view despite being a bit late, the views of Positano were unbelievable, the birthday “cake” exactly what I was hoping for with the staff very kindly following our wishes, fantastic local tomatoes, lobster linguine and absolutely the best pistacchio gelato ever. Thank you all so much, we may come next year just to dine here again with the whole family!

We were there for birthday celebrations. The dinner view is phenomenal. Worth the hype. The sky bar is on expensive side with cocktails around €30 so choose your drink responsibly. The food was fantastic and wasn’t expensive, we missed ordering sea food but looked very tempting.
