★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The View is the only good thing… my spaghetti with zucchini were too greasy, they were swimming in oil, the Food of my Friends was like from the microwave and the rose tasted like vinegar. We Missed our Bus because we waited 30min for the Check while 4 waiters asked us if we want the check. At least they didnt charge Me for the Spaghetti but nevertheless - you should enjoy the view from another restaurant to from the Steps…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food but one of the staff is extremely racist.He was nice to others but very rude to us (browns).. Didn’t expect this because the waiting staff was actually nicer.. Views are great, but our experience was truly horrible and I’d recommend another restaurant with similar views throughout the village..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Please do not believe any of these bad reviews. My husband and I stopped here for breakfast and it was delicious! We had a very friendly waiter, and he was very attentive. We went back for dinner this evening and it was phenomenal! Waitstaff was extremely friendly and attentive all while they were extremely busy. The food was delicious. We had spaghetti con vongole and it was amazing. Thank you to all the staff at Caffe Positano we will be back!!! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped here for the view, first, but then to get a drink to cool off after the climb up the hill from the pier. We just got smoothies & caffe - obviously a little pricey, but still pretty tasty and hit the spot. The smoothie wasn't big, and I think around €10, but it was exactly what we needed. Perfect stop to get our bearings from the top of the hill, catch our breath, refresh, and enjoy the awe-inspiring view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waste of €50. Did not feel welcome, felt rushed. Grilled local fish was so tiny and dry. Exhaust from constant cars really affects the taste and experience. Great view. Cheaper to ferry to Amalfi, eat well, and leave full. ??♀️ Waiters are burnt out/exhausted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for the view, stayed for the food. Turns out for that coveted front row seat at the 'Positano show', you have to dine here, which is more than fair enough. Fortunately for us we were hungry!
Fried calamari – fantastic. Fresh fish paccheri was to die for, absolutely incredible. and highly recommended. The shrimp and lemon risotto also delicious but unfortunately cold when it got to us :(
Staff were courteous (helps a bit that I speak the language fluently), but i can understand how some people may think they're a bit stand offish. The Italian style/attitude can rub some the wrong way. Overall a great experience!
