Non è gestita e quindi è quasi sempre non utilizzabile salvo la piccola tettoia antistante l'ingresso, in caso di temporale. Si trova a pochi metri dalla cima del Monte Camoscio, altura molto panoramica che può essere raggiunta da Baveno in poco più di un'ora di cammino su sentiero abbastanza dissestato. Small but neat structure owned by the Baveno section of the A.N.A. It is not managed and therefore it is almost always not usable except for the small canopy in front of the entrance, in the event of a thunderstorm. It is located a few meters from the top of Monte Camoscio, a very panoramic hill that can be reached from Baveno in just over an hour's walk on a rather rough path.

La discesa non si può fare dalla via ferrata ma si deve fare tramite una stradina sterrata. Consigliato Beautiful place, easy climbing with some more complicated but feasible points. At the top there is a cross and a refuge. The descent cannot be done from the via ferrata but must be done via a dirt road. Recommended

Percorrenza circa 2 ore la salita. Merita assolutamente, mentre si sale si gode la vista sul Baveno e il lago Maggiore The picasass ferrata is one of the most beautiful ever made, the path is very long but technically easy, along the road it has overhanging pieces and a Tibetan bridge. The climb takes about 2 hours. It absolutely deserves, while you go up you can enjoy the view of Baveno and Lake Maggiore

A 2 minuti dal rifugio vista spettacolare sul lago Maggiore! It would have been nice to find it open for a beer after the via ferrata, no more reason to come back! 2 minutes from the refuge with a spectacular view of Lake Maggiore!

Di fronte ad esso si estende un bel prato dove si può fare picnic prendere il sole ma anche riposare all'ombra di piante. Il rifugio è stato ristrutturato recentemente nell'anno 2016. La zona è molto frequentata grazie alla vicinanza della ferrata Picasass che sale dal paese di Baveno fino alla cima del Monte Camoscio. It is a small building used as a shelter that stands near the cross of Cima Camoscio. The refuge is almost always closed even on weekends. In front of it there is a beautiful lawn where you can picnic sunbathe but also rest in the shade of plants. The refuge was recently renovated in 2016. The area is very popular thanks to the proximity of the Picasass via ferrata that climbs from the village of Baveno to the top of Monte Camoscio.
