Locale stile montano non molto grande offre pasti tipici poca scelta ma buoni e abbondanti. Il contesto è molto bello con un balcone sul lago a 5 minuti a piedi. Il personale/proprietari cordiali e sorridenti... la signora con apparente atteggiamento rustico ... se coinvolta diviene una buona consigliera. Ci ritornerò sicuramente. Met by chance in midweek day, well located and convenient to reach. Not very large mountain-style restaurant offers typical meals with little choice but good and abundant. The setting is very nice with a balcony overlooking the lake at 5 minutes walk. Friendly and smiling staff / owners ... the lady with apparent rustic attitude ... becomes a good adviser if involved. I will definitely be back.

Gastfreundschaft *** Preis/Leistung * Sehr gute Hausmacherkost, ein friedlicher Ort, ausreichend Parkplätze für die ca. 35 Sitzplätze. Die Zufriedenheit der Gäste spürt man, wenn das Essen vorbei ist auf dem Parkplatz. Wirklich gehen will niemand. I don't like sharing the place. It might be more difficult to reserve. Hospitality * Price-performance *** Very good home-made food, a peaceful place, enough parking space for about 35 seats. You can feel the satisfaction of the guests when the meal is over in the parking lot. Nobody really wants to go.

Consiglio d'andare al vicino e spettacolare punto panoramico (5 minuti) We got there from Caldè after a nice "hike" in the woods, nice managers (a little less the lady) good lunch in good company. I recommend going to the nearby and spectacular viewpoint (5 minutes)
R	Roberto Di Pasquale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posizione bellissima raggiungibile sia a piedi che con i mezzi, pochi metri di sentiero più in alto si raggiunge il Poggiolo, un bellissimo Belvedere sul Lago Maggiore che permette di vedere tutta la vallata da Caldè a Maccagno, magico! Il locale ed il servizio non li ho provati, mi sono fermato giusto per un caffè ed un amaro. Sembrava tutto abbastanza nella norma anche se, nonostante me l'aspettassi, il cartello che indica la non disponibilità del POS con le leggi, regole, commissioni e possibilità di oggi non si può proprio vedere. Beautiful position reachable both on foot and by public transport, a few meters higher path you reach the Poggiolo, a beautiful Belvedere on Lake Maggiore that allows you to see the whole valley from Caldè to Maccagno, magical! I have not tried the place and the service, I stopped just for a coffee and an amaro. It all seemed pretty normal even if, although I expected it, the sign indicating the unavailability of the POS with the laws, rules, commissions and possibilities of today cannot be seen at all.
