Personale cordiale e gentile, menù della casa completo perfetto ed abbondate con ottimi piatti tipici locali. Consiglio di provarlo le immagini parlano da se (Antipasto,soffritto,scialatielli al ragù di cinghiale,scialatielli ai porcini, arrosto misto, bruschettone provola porcini, insalata e patatine,panna cotta al pistacchio). All perfect! The restaurant offers a small cozy room with an open fireplace just like a mountain refuge. Friendly and kind staff, perfect complete house menu and abound with excellent local dishes. I recommend trying it as the pictures speak for themselves (Appetizer, sautéed, scialatielli with wild boar ragout, scialatielli with porcini, mixed roast, bruschettone with porcini cheese, salad and chips, pistachio panna cotta).

Cozy and very clean place. Don't be fooled by the outside because the place is very large and spacious. Excellent typical cuisine and helpful staff.

Avevamo già trascorso lì qualche weekend la scorsa estate e ci siamo ritornati perchè siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti e volevamo provare un'esperienza invernale. Non sono stati solo i luoghi stupendi ad attirarci, ma anche l'ospitalità e la gentilezza dei proprietari e dello staff del Rifugio. Che dire del cibo? Alimenti genuini, ben cucinati e portate abbondanti. Nel rispetto delle norme anti-Covid, il cenone di fine anno, protrattosi ben oltre la mezzanotte, si è svolto in un'atmosfera familiare e serena. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro! My husband and I stayed at the Montano Refuge on full board on December 31st and January 1st. We had already spent a few weekends there last summer and went back because we were very happy and wanted to have a winter experience. It was not only the beautiful places that attracted us, but also the hospitality and kindness of the owners and staff of the Refuge. What about food? Genuine food, well cooked and abundant. In compliance with the anti-Covid rules, the end-of-year dinner, which lasted well after midnight, took place in a family and serene atmosphere. We will be back for sure!
C	Carol Ferreira on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a table for four and upon arrival were told there wasn't a menu, only two options of dishes per service and the price was fixed per person. Appetizers arrived soon but then, we waited around 30-40 minutes to get the first dish and waiters seemed to be avoiding our table to avoid confrontation. After the first dish arrived we asked if the next dish would take as long we'd rather finish the service but we were told it would be quicker. It wasn't. Another 30 minutes or so for next dish and waitress came to justify delay because there was some event going on in the floor below. Owner of the restaurant came to the table only at the beginning to check on us and after avoided us at all cost knowing we were unsastified. We ended up skipping the fruit/dessert and coffee after wasting 2:30 hours waiting for two dishes and when the bill finally came they charged us the full menu price. No apologies whatsoever. Avoid it.
