A fondo valle lungo il greto del torrente abbiamo ammirato la fioritura di bellissime orchidee anche la scarpetta di Venere. Pranzato al rifugio con qualche nota dolente sulla qualità della materia prima usata (macinato del pastin)pur conoscendo le difficoltà di gestione di un rifugio in quota.Rientrati a Casera Mela per il sentiero in quota verso casera Bedin..impegnativo ma molto bello. Noto che molte alte valutazioni si limitano alla posizione del rifugio (sicuramente invidiabile), senza però valutare il servizio. Stayed one night. Unfriendly and rude management, above average prices. I notice that many high ratings are limited to the location of the refuge (certainly enviable), without evaluating the service.

Sentiero di media difficoltà, ma merita la fatica, perché arrivati al rifugio (molto bello) si apre un panorama stupendo!!! Bellissimoooo We climbed from Erto, forwarding into the suggestive Val Zemola, the spectacular blue sky and Mount Duranno completely snowy and majestic !! Path of medium difficulty, but worth the effort, because when you arrive at the refuge (very nice) a wonderful panorama opens up !!! bellissimoooo
S	Sergio La Malfa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rifugio sopra il paese di Erto raggiungibile solo a piedi. Si arriva in macchina fino a casera Mela da dove parte il sentiero. Circa due ore di cammino. Il rifugio è in una magnifica posizione sotto le vette dolomitiche. Si può mangiare pasta, frico, salsicce, torte,... Il servizio è sufficientemente accogliente. La pasta niente di eccezionale. Meglio i dolci. Refuge above the village of Erto reachable only on foot. You arrive by car up to Casera Mela where the path starts. About two hours of walking. The refuge is in a magnificent position below the Dolomite peaks. You can eat pasta, frico, sausages, cakes, ... The service is sufficiently welcoming. Pasta nothing exceptional. Better desserts.

È possibile raggiungere anche da un sentiero completamente su bosco (tenendo la dx) ma attenzione che un tratto è franato e bisogna avventurarsi su pendii per saltare la frana (Non per bambini), resto del sentiero non ben segnalato. Rifugio ospitale e accogliente, possibilità di mangiare sia all'estero che all'interno. Buona la cucina con varie possibilità di scelta, ovviamente tipiche dei posti. Camere al secondo piano e bagni. Offre di bella vista. Punto di partenza per altri rifugio o per forcella .. Lodge located at 1700 meters above sea level, accessible via forest road that starts from refuge Mela then stretch in the woods. It is possible to reach even from a path completely on the wood (keeping to the right) but be careful that a stretch has collapsed and you have to venture on slopes to skip the landslide (Not for children), rest of the path not well signposted. Hospitable and welcoming retreat, possibility to eat both abroad and indoors. Good cuisine with various choices, obviously typical of places. Rooms on the second floor and bathrooms. It offers beautiful views. Starting point for other shelters or for fork ..

Arrivati per pernottare ci siamo sentiti di “dare decisamente fastidio” al personale che ci ha “accolto”. Se non avessimo avuto la necessità di dover pernottare causa l’ora, saremmo andati via. Per non parlare dei prezzi, della “pulizia” e della qualità del cibo. Sconsigliato. If you are looking for forgetfulness, rudeness and dislike you are in the right refuge. When we arrived to stay overnight we felt we were "definitely annoying" the staff who "welcomed us". If we hadn't had the need to stay overnight because of the hour, we would have left. Not to mention the prices, the "cleanliness" and the quality of the food. Not recommended.
C	Co2Fe3 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partiti da rifugio casa mela, 2 orette di sentiero (ben segnato e alla portata di tutti). Arrivo a rifugio maniago, stupendo panorama e bella location. Cibo ottimo! Polenta frico e pastin 14€, tagliatelle con i porcini 13€ (in menù c’erano anche spaghetti al ragù a 6€). Per un rifugio senza strada e senza teleferica prezzi onesti. Starting from the casa mela refuge, 2 hours of path (well marked and within everyone's reach). Arrival at the Maniago refuge, wonderful panorama and beautiful location Great food! Polenta frico and pastin € 14, tagliatelle with porcini € 13 (on the menu there were also spaghetti with meat sauce for € 6). For a refuge with no road and no cableway, fair prices.
A	Alessandro Redolfi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se si parte a piedi da casera mela consiglio per chi è meno allenato di fare la strada sterrata forestale, invece per chi è un po' più allenato consiglio il sentiero che è molto bello è in gran parte immerso nel bosco ma con una pendenza abbastanza importante. Pultroppo non ho pernottato quindi non vi so dire com'era il personale anche se leggo molte recensioni negative. Io consiglio di prendere comunque un dolce o pranzo perché io mi sono trovato molto bene. Consiglio vivamente per la bellezza del posto If you start on foot from casera mela I recommend for those who are less trained to take the forest dirt road, instead for those who are a little more trained I recommend the path which is very beautiful is mostly immersed in the woods but with a fairly important slope . Unfortunately I didn't stay overnight so I can't tell you what the staff was like even though I read many negative reviews. I recommend taking a dessert or lunch anyway because I found myself very well. I highly recommend for the beauty of the place
