A	Alberto R. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oggi insieme ad altre persone che si trovavano nella cava di marmo buscada, vicino al relativo rifugio, abbiamo assistito ad una scena incredibile: il gestore del Rifugio Cava Buscada con male parole e minacce ha mandato via una famiglia (diversi ragazzi e anche anziani) che stavano facendo un picnic nella cava di marmo dopo la lunga escursione dalla Valle. Ci ha stupito l'aggressività e le minacce ... sembra perché si trovavano nella sua proprietà. Ma la cava e la strada sono proprietà privata? Non abbiamo visto nessun divieto di accesso. Perché allora questo comportamento? E da quello che si è saputo sembra che non sia la prima volta che succedono questi episodi. Ma le autorità che gestiscono questi bei posti perché non avvisano i turisti di questa situazione? Today, together with other people who were in the buscada marble quarry, near the relative refuge, we witnessed an incredible scene: the manager of the Cava Buscada refuge with bad words and threats sent away a family (several boys and also elderly) who they were having a picnic in the marble quarry after the long hike from the Valley. We were amazed by the aggression and the threats ... it seems because they were on his property. But are the quarry and the road private property? We have not seen any entry restrictions. Why then this behavior? And from what has been learned it seems that this is not the first time these episodes have happened. But why don't the authorities who manage these beautiful places warn tourists about this situation?

Birretta in lattina di infima qualità, roba da 20cent. ai discount per giunta calda pagata 2,50 euro, brodaglia di funghi in scatola, quattro pezzetti di spezzatino e polenta palesemente industriale. Tutto pagato come in un ristorante 5 stelle. E che non mi si tiri fuori la storia dei costi di un rifugio di montagna perché non lo è I'm sorry but worse than that. Low quality canned beer, 20 cents stuff. at discount stores, in addition, they pay 2.50 euros for hot soup, canned mushroom soup, four pieces of stew and clearly industrial polenta. p	patrizia Sugarotti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gianpietro, e Roberta sono persone squisite. Gestiscono questa struttura offrendo ottimi piatti e una torta Buscada, ottima. Il figlio Diego di 9 anni ci ha fatto molta compagnia. Danno anche un servizio navetta per raggiungere il posto e visitare la cava, luogo del passato dove si respira il duro lavoro che si faceva. Sicuramente torneremo qui quando andremo nel Friuli. Grazie di cuore Gianpietro and Roberta are exquisite people. They run this establishment offering great dishes and a great Buscada cake. The 9 year old son Diego kept us a lot of company. They also give a shuttle service to reach the place and visit the quarry, a place of the past where you can breathe the hard work that was done. We will definitely come back here when we go to Friuli. Thank you so much

Si mangia benone!!! The refuge offers a breathtaking view and is easy to reach. 10000 praise to the managers who are really welcoming and ready to give you advice on what to visit. You eat well !!!
P	Paola Ragogna on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Davvero un bel rifugio. Personale accogliente, gentile e simpatico. Si mangia molto bene e da lassù c'è un panorama meraviglioso. Il sentiero per arrivarci è in leggera pendenza costante con punti all'ombra nel bosco e altri al esposti al sole. Fattibile a piedi in circa due ore per chi non è allenatissimo partendo dal parcheggio a pagamento che c'è giù. Dopo il rifugio si può proseguire a visitare il "giardino degli ammoniti, carrucole e nodi" in un bel percorso di archeologia industriale. Davvero interessante e suggestivo. Volendo al rifugio si può chiedere l'occorrente per effettuare il percorso audioguidato. A really nice retreat. Welcoming, kind and nice staff. The food is very good and there is a wonderful view from up there. The path to get there is on a constant slight slope with shaded spots in the woods and others exposed to the sun. Feasible on foot in about two hours for those who are not very trained starting from the paid parking lot down there. After the refuge you can continue to visit the "garden of the ammonites, pulleys and knots" in a beautiful path of industrial archeology. Really interesting and suggestive. If you want to the refuge you can ask for what you need to make the audio-guided tour.
L	Lorenzo Martinuzzo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parto dal cibo: abbiamo preso pasta al ragù di agnello, polenta, pastin, frico, spezzatino di agnello e vari contorni, siamo tutto rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Come dolce consiglio la torta Buscada. I prezzi sono alti ma perfettamente leciti visti i costi di gestione del rifugio. Se avete occasione di parlare con il gestore qualche minuto sarà pronto a darvi i consigli migliori per visitare la zona raccontandovi anche piacevoli aneddoti. Dal rifugio si raggiunge velocemente la cava da dove veniva estratto il marmo, anche tramite un sentiero ricco di piante e fiori debitamente contrassegnati per scoprirne i nomi. Mangiando all'estero si gode poi di una bella vista. I start with the food: we took pasta with lamb ragu, polenta, pastin, frico, lamb stew and various side dishes, we were all fully satisfied. As a dessert I recommend the Buscada cake. The prices are high but perfectly legitimate given the management costs of the refuge. If you have the opportunity to speak with the manager for a few minutes, he will be ready to give you the best advice for visiting the area, also telling you pleasant anecdotes. From the refuge you can quickly reach the quarry where the marble was extracted, also via a path full of plants and flowers duly marked to discover their names. Eating abroad also enjoys a beautiful view.

Dispensatori di utili info su che cosa visitare nella zona. Il rifugio è molto ben tenuto, pulito ed organizzato. Poco sopra si può visitare la vecchia cava di marmo e poco più su godere di una fantastica vista a 360 gradi delle Dolomiti. Grazie ancora per l'ospitalità Retreat in a wonderful location. Unique view! Easy way to get there on foot. Great food and very kind managers. Dispensers of useful info on what to visit in the area. The shelter is very well maintained, clean and organized. A little above you can visit the old marble quarry and a little further up you can enjoy a fantastic 360 degree view of the Dolomites. Thanks again for the hospitality
