★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel punto di partenza per bei percorsi facili lungo strade forestali. Il gestore che ci ha accolto molto gentile. Si raggiunge con l’auto lungo strada parzialmente asfaltata e cementata. È fortemente sconsigliato salire con SUV, altrimenti bisogna fare attenzione nel transitare alcune cunette. Panorama che non ti aspetti, bello.
 Nice starting point for nice easy routes along forest roads. The manager who welcomed us very kind. It can be reached by car along a partially paved and cemented road. It is strongly not recommended to go up with an SUV, otherwise you have to be careful in passing some bumps. Unexpected panorama, beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adoro i colori autunnali della Val Zemola, le suggestioni magiche e le atmosfere selvagge dei boschi arroccati su dislivelli ertani. Questi luoghi trasudano delle fatiche degli abitanti di un tempo che qui ricavavano i materiali per edificare le loro case e percorrerli è da fare con rispetto.
Il rifugio è una bomboniera di pura montagna anche se comodamente raggiungibile in auto conserva intatta la sua autentica natura silvana.
I love the autumnal colors of Val Zemola, the magical suggestions and the wild atmospheres of the woods perched on Ertani hills. These places exude the efforts of the inhabitants of the past who here obtained the materials to build their houses and walk through them is to be done with respect.
The refuge is a pure mountain wedding favor even if it can be easily reached by car, it preserves its authentic sylvan nature intact.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Casera molto carina e vabbè curata con vista fenomenale, unica pecca che per arrivarci la strada è leggermente dissestata e poco protetta, ma niente di infattibile. Piatti non troppo pieni ma molto gustosi.
Casera very pretty and oh well looked after with phenomenal views, the only flaw that to get there the road is slightly bumpy and not very protected, but nothing infeasible. Dishes not too full but very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ siamo arrivati senza prenotazione ed in bassa stagione, nonostante ciò abbiamo trovato gestori molto gentili e disponibili . La cucina molto curata con piatti tipici e cacciagione di ottima qualità. Il posto accogliente e anche se un po' fuori mano ne vale davvero la pena.
we arrived without a reservation and in the low season, despite this we found very kind and helpful managers. The well-kept cuisine with typical dishes and excellent quality game. Cozy place and even if a little out of the way it's really worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu semplice, corto. Mi aspettavo qualcosina in più. I piatti "caserecci", le porzioni decenti , può darsi un po altini i prezzi ( ma niente di esagerato). tornerò di sicuro. Se non sbaglio a qualche metro dal rifugio hanno anche una mini casetta che si può affittare.
Simple, short menu. I was expecting a little more. The "homemade" dishes, the decent portions, the prices may be a bit high (but nothing exaggerated). I'll be back for sure. If I'm not mistaken, a few meters from the refuge they also have a mini house that can be rented.
