J	James Harrison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was my second night in a rifugio in Italy, again brilliant staff, friendly and a good laugh, views from the restaurant are spectacular and so is the food. I used this rifugio as the start to doing the sorapiss circuit and made sure i returned on my way down with a beer, sandwich and to see the staff. Big thumbs up for this rifugio.
S	Sam Styles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sorry this happened, but I wish to leave a fair and honest review. We arrived and were seated, it took about 10 min for the order to be taken, having asked. We asked for 6 dishes, and only 3 arrived after 15 min. The other 3 did not. We asked the waiter where they were. He said they were coming now, so we waited, I then had to go and ask the owner where the dishes were, he said their was an error in the kitchen and they were coming. This then took another 10 min for them to arrive. We then wen to pay, the owner proceeded to abuse us after we said that we did not see it reasonable to pay for the dishes which took over 30 min to arrive. Rather than coming to an agreement he stated yelling and making out that we were in the wrong. The reason I leave this review is because of the way we were dealt with. In no way did the owner apologise. He just got angry. I’ve lived in Italy for 18 years and know how restaurants work, so to the owner - don’t make out that we are ignorant to this matter, you just need to accept you made the mistake! I wish you luck, take this as feedback.

Unfortunately, service was poor (took 45 minutes + to get our food and it arrived at 10-15 minute intervals, so half of us had finished eating before the others had started), food was mediocre when it eventually arrived (varied in quality across the 6 of us, the dishes that arrived earlier were much better quality). The waiters were apologetic and said that the chef had made a mistake, but weren't able to update us on when the food would actually arrive. We had to ask numerous times.
j	joe roberts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All hail George!!! We called last minute and were offered a room along with dinner and breakfast... all we had to do was walk up a mountain and the rifugio was ours! The room was very cosy indeed and had a balcony with a view over Cortina. We were informed by George who, we later established, was the waiter usually, that the chef was away but he’d do his best for us. He certainly did just that. Local wine and beer preceded classic Alpine-style food which preceded pudding (Grappe). Countless home made jars, differing in colour and shades of the delicious concoction darned the walls of the restaurant. In the morning, shaking off a distilled grape hangover, we were met with a full breakfast and stunning views. What a find! Thank you George!

I realized that it's easy to go there even if you're not good in hiking, one can use the lift to go up to the mountain (Faloria) and then either take the jeep or hike for around one hour to reach this jewelry....
