Posizione ottima vicina alla bellissimi faraglioni di Sant’Andrea. Sembra più un ristorante per i pensionanti dell’albergo. Frittura un po’ gommosa, mentre le cozze non sembravano freschissime. Mi aspetto di più dalla Puglia da punto vista culinario. Tourist restaurant with few anonymous dishes and above average prices. Quite courteous and fast service. Excellent location close to the beautiful stacks of Sant’Andrea. It looks more like a restaurant for hotel boarders. Frying a little chewy, while the mussels didn't seem very fresh. I expect more from Puglia from a culinary point of view.

Antipasto di mare spento e privo di mordente, gamberoni alla brace discreti, frittura completa un po moscia e poco saporita. Pizza molle ed insipida. Buono il gelato artigianale ed il sorbetto. Servizio lento e un po caotico. Conto altino x la media qualità del cibo. Da rivedere. Ups and downs perhaps due to high expectations after reading previous reviews. Dull and bite-free seafood appetizer, discreet grilled prawns, complete frying a little loose and not very tasty. Soft and tasteless pizza. Good homemade ice cream and sorbet. Slow and somewhat chaotic service. I count high for the average quality of the food. To be reviewed.

Nel piatto di pesce abbiamo trovato un pezzo di carne, può capitare, ma farcelo passare insistentemente per un casuale pezzo di tonno addirittura di ottima qualità mi sembra una presa in giro, dopo aver insistito finalmente ci hanno tolto il piatto e si sono scusati. L'attenzione al cliente non è da tutti. We were not happy at all, slow and uncoordinated service, we had the feeling of being "too much". In the fish dish we found a piece of meat, it can happen, but making it pass insistently for a random piece of tuna even of excellent quality seems to me a mockery, after having insisted they finally removed the dish and apologized. Attention to the customer is not for everyone.

Un plauso va alla signora Gina ed allo staff della cucina, in quanto io essendo celiaca, sono stata coccolata e non mi sono sentita "diversa" Ottimo il pasticciotto senza glutine. Anche il personale molto gentile We were guests of the Hotel for 10 days. Diego, Carlo and Gina made us feel at home. Excellent cuisine. An applause goes to Mrs. Gina and the kitchen staff, as I was celiac, I was pampered and I did not feel "different" The gluten-free pasticciotto is excellent. Very nice staff too
G	Giuliano Napolitano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eravamo in 3 adulti e 1 bambino. I primi clienti della giornata, infatti ci siamo intrufolati appena hanno aperto il ristorante. Abbiamo preso 2 pizze e io un primo e secondo di pesce. Le pizze erano da manuale! Cornicione da applauso e mozzarella filante e senza troppa acqua, molto leggera e pure ben cotta. Ma a mio parere il primo di pesce era qualcosa di scandaloso (in senso buono): tagliolini con seppie e vongole a 13 euro. C'erano più frutti di mare che pasta, ho quasi faticato a finire il primo, e io sono un uomo di 110 kg. Tralaltro il pesce non era assolutamente congelato, nonostante il mare mosso (I ragazzi dell'Alba Chiara infatti dicono sul menù che il pesce viene pescato direttamente da loro con una piccola imbarcazione, quindi in caso di maltempo giustamente non è garantito il pescato di giornata ma congelato, comunque sempre di ottima qualità). Detto questo, passiamo al secondo: 4 gamberoni grigliati a 12 euro. Un' altra delizia, pesavano almeno 100g l' uno, cottura PERFETTA, succosi e saporiti. E di nuovo, non congelato (credo, ma erano i migliori gamberoni della mia vita, quindi .....) Personale accogliente, educato ma forse non velocissimo. Si addice al posto dato che se vai a mangiare in un posto vista mare e poi hai fretta, forse era meglio andare dal paninaro antistante, vicino alla fontanella :) Non tornavo a Torre Sant' Andrea da almeno 10 anni, mi ha fatto piacere trovare le solite facce, e la solita cucina. Ci vediamo l'anno prossimo. We were 3 adults and 1 child. The first customers of the day, in fact, we sneaked in as soon as the restaurant opened. We took 2 pizzas and I a first and second of fish. The pizzas were textbook! Applause cornice and stringy mozzarella without too much water, very light and well cooked. But in my opinion the first fish course was something scandalous (in a good way): tagliolini with cuttlefish and clams for 13 euros. There was more seafood than pasta, I almost struggled to finish the first one, and I'm a 110kg man. Moreover, the fish was absolutely not frozen, despite the rough sea (The boys of the Alba Chiara in fact say on the menu that the fish is caught directly from them with a small boat, so in case of bad weather the catch of the day is not guaranteed, but frozen, however always of excellent quality). Having said that, let's move on to the second: 4 grilled prawns for 12 euros. Another delight, they weighed at least 100g each, PERFECT cooking, juicy and tasty. And again, not frozen (I think, but they were the best prawns of my life, so .....) Staff welcoming, polite but perhaps not very fast. It suits the place since if you go to eat in a place overlooking the sea and then you are in a hurry, maybe it was better to go to the sandwich shop opposite, near the fountain :) I had not returned to Torre Sant 'Andrea for at least 10 years, I was pleased to find the usual faces, and the usual cuisine. Il personale eccezionale.. Ti fanno sentire a proprio agio molto cordiali e mai invadenti.. La cucina è al top.. Con prodotti locali e dove è possibile mangiare dell ottimo pesce tutti i giorni con menù sempre diversi.. Per colazione torte ed altri tipi di dolci fatti da loro dato che è una struttura a livello familiare. Un altra nota positiva la pulizia dove ogni giorno che entravamo oltre alla pulizia al top un gradevole prufumo... Che dire.??? Siamo stati veramente bene.. E nulla è cambiato dal 2017 perché già c'eravamo stati, e tutto è rimasto uguale Great location between bear tower and otranto .. Very large rooms.
