Cristallo, Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The Cristallo is a total gem nestled in the Dolomites. My husband and I enjoyed 3 nights there this summer and the service was over the top. The staff on all fronts is so friendly, welcoming and warm. The breakfast buffet is enormous and delicious. The bar and terrace are dreamy. I could sit there for hours enjoying a cocktail and breathing the crisp mountain air. The pool and spa were excellent. We can't wait to go back.

Five star location, one star resort. Left early. The restaurant gets everything wrong for every table. Unreal. The elevators are blocked by strange barriers that serve no purpose. Staff is edgy and weird. The rooms are a cocktail of kitsch.

We had a wonderful stay. The resort was beautiful with a completely unobstructed view of the amazing mountains. I rated everything as excellent—the exception was food (which was still Good!!).

Service is a disaster in the breakfast area. They get everything wrong for every table. We saw it happen about 10 times in the space of an hour. The location is beautiful but the hotel is kitschy and bizarre. For example they have ropes blocking the access to the elevators. Why, I don’t know. I removed them twice but they come back. We left a day early.

A breath-taking stay across from the Dolomites, this luxury hotel lives up to its name. Antonio and Frederico made our stay with their excellent service. Every staff member has a peppy and jovial attitude. I will definitely stay again, but only if the piano player keeps writing his own music.

Location is fantastic, staff is excellent across the board. My only real issue was with some of the design choices in the rooms. WAY too many curtains blocking the amazing views and way too much furniture. The shower was some 1990's jacuzzi thing begging you to fall getting into it.

Love the stay very much. Clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Great services and very nice friendly staff. Everywhere almost in the hotel you can experience the great view of Dolomites. Great location supported by shuttle bus if you don’t want to make little walk to the town. Nice fitness Center with nice size of pool heated.

Amazing hotel at the top of the Cortina. The hotel has outdoor or covered parking for a fee. Already at the entrance, the hotel staff (and especially the wonderful Canio) take care of everything you need to make your vacation pampering and perfect. There is a shuttle during most hours of the day from the hotel to the town and back. The rooms were very spacious, amazingly clean. There are lots of toiletries waiting in the shower. The cleaning staff cleans twice a day, including changing towels and soft bathrobes, leaving candies and cookies for each guest and placing new water bottles in the room! The dining room overlooks an mesmerizing view, the wonderful staff surrounds you and takes care of all your requests (coffee, eggs to choose from, breads and more and more). The serving is elegant, luxurious with silverware and beautiful tablecloths. The spa is without a doubt the highlight: new, modern, shiny and spacious and so comfortable. The spa has a large pool, seating area facing the view, a large Jacuzzi, a dry sauna complex, and smart chilling rooms (by wind, water at temp and various currents). We spent the Corona period - we had to announce our arrival, we had two hours to use the spa facilities. Once you arrive - comfortable and sanitized beds are waiting for you, and each person is served glasses with various teas, hot water, a bag of dried fruit and almonds. Canio stood out in particular - ready to give details, help, take care of everything you need: from ordering a corona test, transportation to the city, offering hiking trails and restaurants. Everything is done happily, with great knowledge and always with a smile! Such a person is a significant asset to the hotel.
