Sentiero in sicurezza senza passaggi esposti, ma sicuramente impegnativo perché la pendenza si fa sentire specialmente verso l'arrivo. Sicuramente da fare. Consigliato Fiumenero departure to the refuge 3.5 hours. Safe path with no exposed passages, but certainly challenging because the slope is felt especially towards the finish. Definitely to do. Advised
T	Tao Lao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super refuge, très propre, pratique et chaleureux. Le site est superbe perchés sur une falaise dans un lieu très isolé. Nous avons vu un troupeau de 20 bouquetins juste derrière le refuge. Les hôtes sont vraiment accueillants et attentionnés, super service. Nous sommes arrivés avec 2 enfants (9 & 11) et nous avons eu un accueil adapté. Je recommande fortement ce refuge (Terence). Great refuge, very clean, practical and warm. The site is superb perched on a cliff in a very isolated location. We saw a herd of 20 ibex just behind the refuge. The hosts are really welcoming and attentive, great service. We arrived with 2 children (9 & 11) and we had a suitable welcome. I highly recommend this refuge (Terence).
E	Eugenio Vitali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La salita al rifugio è impegnativa, soprattutto l'ultima ora e mezza da dopo il secondo ponte di legno dove si prende quota per raggiungere il rifugio. La fatica è ripagata dal paesaggio selvaggio ammirabile dalla cima. Per chi vuole dal rifugio si può prendere il passo scaletta (circa 30min) da cui si può vedere la Valtellina, oppure proseguire per il più impegnativo pizzo redorta (circa 2 ore e mezza). Marco il rifugiata è sempre disponibile a dare indicazioni e suggerimenti sui sentieri nei dintorni The climb to the refuge is challenging, especially the last hour and a half from after the second wooden bridge where you climb to reach the refuge. The effort is rewarded by the wild landscape that can be admired from the top. For those who want from the refuge you can take the ladder step (about 30min) from which you can see the Valtellina, or continue to the more challenging Pizzo Redorta (about 2 and a half hours). Marco the refugee is always available to give directions and suggestions on the trails in the surrounding area
O	Or Ma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partiti dal parcheggio di Fiumenero il sentiero 227 si presenta subito molto bello, vario tra salite nel bosco e pietraie, come già specificato da altri, non è una passeggiata, ci vuole allenamento e passione per questo tipo di paesaggio. Con tanto entusiasmo siamo arrivati fino al ponticello sopra al torrente, che forma una piscinetta bellissima, acqua gelata, ma rigenerante per i piedi, prima di affrontare l'ultimo tratto molto impegnativo per arrivare al rifugio, non è importante salire e fare le gare, l'importante è arrivare ed essere soddisfatti della riuscita. Purtroppo nubi basse non hanno consentito di ammirare il panorama, viste le foto di altri direi che merita molto. All'interno del rifugio l'ambiente è accogliente e il personale gentile, abbiamo mangiato bene. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️le 5 stelle sono più che altro per il sentiero Starting from the Fiumenero car park, the path 227 is immediately very beautiful, varied between climbs in the woods and stony ground, as already specified by others, it is not a walk, it takes training and passion for this type of landscape. With so much enthusiasm we reached the bridge over the stream, which forms a beautiful swimming pool, frozen water, but regenerating for the feet, before tackling the last very demanding stretch to get to the refuge, it is not important to go up and do the races, the important thing is to arrive and be satisfied with the success. Unfortunately, low clouds did not allow you to admire the view, given the photos of others I would say that it deserves a lot. Inside the refuge the environment is welcoming and the staff are kind, we ate well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the 5 stars are more for the trail

Salita faticosa e lunga ma che non presenta difficoltà particolari Rifugista sempre molto gentile e disponibile anche per suggerimenti su meteo e sentieri One of the most beautiful shelters of the Orobie under the walls of the Redorta and with a view of the Devils. A tiring and long climb that does not present particular difficulties Refugee always very kind and also available for suggestions on weather and trails
R	Rihards Krjučins on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My girlfriend and I stayed the night here in mid August because of the bad weather, usually we were using tent on our 7 day long hike along the Orobie Alps. Employees were very welcoming and nice, we felt like home here. Because of the bad weather (fogy and rainy), next morning the Rifugio manager Marco, because of his good will, leaded the whole group to the next hut (Coca) over the difficult route where at some moments, because of the fog, it wasn't possible to understand the right dirrection and follow the path. Thanks to Rifugio Baroni friendly employees and huge thanks to Marco for showing us the way! Grazie!
D	Davide Ferrara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A somewhat remote mountain hut in the heart of the Orobie Alps, the Rifugio Baroni at Brunone will come as a long-awaited relief from the tiring, technical trails of the area. The hut manager (Marco) and his staff will make you feel right at home. The dining room is clean, spacious and warm. The food choice is varied and it's of high quality. Should you decide to stay overnight, the hut has 56 beds. In this case, bring your own sack or buy a disposable one there. Hot showers are available for a small extra charge. The views from the hut are truly breathtaking, with a view over the neighboring Redorta, Diavolo di Tenda, Poris peaks and the Simal pass. The hut manager is very knowledgeable about the conditions of the trails nearby, so if you need info before setting out on a hike, just ask him. Overall, I warmly recommend you stop at this hut, you won't regret it!
