IL rifugio e'stato il nido della mia famiglia accogliente e ospitale.Da li partono dei percorsi sul pollino di media difficolta'.consigliato a chi desidera una vacanza immersa nella natura e silenzio. Wonderful weekend with my family by Vincenzo and Rosa, genuine and very helpful people. The refuge was the nest of my family, welcoming and hospitable. From there the paths on the medium difficulty pollen are advised for those who want a holiday immersed in nature and silence.
a	andreana olivieri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il luogo dove si trova il rifugio è un paradiso, silenzio, natura, pace! I gestori sono molto accoglienti e ti senti a casa. Vincenzo ci ha accompagnato in una escursione sul monte Pollino con simpatia e professionalità. Ci siamo fermati due notti, ottima cena con carne alla brace. La stanza e il bagno sono essenziali ma puliti e in ordine. Attenzione alla strada, non vi sono mai indicazioni ma il navigatore di google ci ha guidato fino al rifugio. L'ultimo tratto è impervio. The place where the refuge is located is a paradise, silence, nature, peace! The managers are very welcoming and you feel at home. Vincenzo accompanied us on an excursion to Mount Pollino with sympathy and professionalism. We stayed two nights, excellent dinner with grilled meat. The room and the bathroom are basic but clean and tidy. Attention to the road, there are never indications but the google navigator guided us to the refuge. The last stretch is impervious.
M	Melissa De Matteis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Paesaggio magnifico ancor meglio incantevole, ma tt il resto a dir poco deludente. Raggiungere il rifugio con la propria auto è davvero un rischio;una volta raggiunto ci si ritrova in 50 metri con persone si accoglienti ma x niente organizzate, con servizi igienici a dir poco scarsi dalle camere (se cosi le vogliamo chiamare) al bagno ( piu che bagno direi un vero "cesso") Il cibo poi... vi dico solo che abbiamo passato tt la notte in bianco. I proprietari sono delle brave persone ma dovrebbero riorganizzare in modo più serio il rifugio offrendo servizi più decenti considerate sopratutto le tariffe nn bassissime che hanno. Nn è adatto a famiglie soprattutto ai bambini. Dovevamo fermarci 2 notti e 3 gg ma siamo andati via dopo la prima notte. Magnificent landscape even better enchanting, but the rest is disappointing to say the least. Reaching the shelter with your own car is really a risk, once you reach it you find yourself in 50 meters with people who are welcoming but have nothing organized, with poor sanitary facilities from the rooms (if we want to call them) to the bathroom (more what a bathroom I would say a real "process") The food then ... I only tell you that we spent the night in white. The owners are good people but they should more seriously reorganize the shelter by offering more decent services especially considering the very low rates they have. Nn is suitable for families especially children. We had to stay 2 nights and 3 days but we left after the first night.

Il posto è magnifico, Vincenzo il titolare ci ha fatto sentire a casa nostra e ci ha preparato un sacco di specialità caserecce. Posto straconsigliato! We stayed at the Rifugio AquilaVerde for Easter, although it was a refuge, the rooms were welcoming. The place is magnificent, Vincenzo the owner made us feel at home and he prepared us a lot of homemade specialties. Recommended place!

I proprietari,Vincendo e Rosa due ragazzi giovani, ci hanno accolto come fossimo di casa. Le camere sono semplici ma con l'indispensabile. Abbiamo mangiato per le due sere e devo ammettere che la cucina genuina e casereccia ci ha fatto sentire come fossimo a casa dalla nonna! Ottimo il vino!!! Ringraziamo di cuore per la bella esperienza e da non sottovalutare assolutamente che dal rifugio parte l'escursione per arrivare alla cima del Pollino ed ammirare il famoso pino laricato e la prateria! I consigli di Vincenzo sul percorso sono stati utilissimi! Grazie ai proprietari che con la loro semplicità ed umiltà offrono ospitalità e danno valore aggiunto alla natura che li circonda! Roberta e Mirko Overcome the steep climb and enjoy a simple location totally immersed in nature. The owners, Vincendo and Rosa, two young boys, welcomed us like we were at home. The rooms are simple but with the indispensable. We ate for the two evenings and I have to admit that the genuine and homemade cuisine made us feel like we were at home with our grandmother! Great wine !!! We sincerely thank you for the beautiful experience and absolutely do not underestimate that the hike starts from the refuge to reach the top of the Pollino and admire the famous larch pine and the prairie! Possibilità di fare escursioni nel bosco e ammirare il suggestivo panorama del Pollino. La cucina di Viviana ottima con piatti tipici del posto. Peccato solo per la stanza, fredda datata e di dubbia pulizia. Alla richiesta di teli doccia ci è stato detto di non esserne forniti. Acqua doccia fredda e riscaldamento sempre spento se non richiesto. Peccato perché il posto merita. Wonderful location. Very welcoming staff to make you feel at home. Possibility of hiking in the woods and admire the suggestive panorama of the Pollino. Viviana's cuisine is excellent with typical local dishes. Too bad only for the room, cold, dated and of dubious cleanliness. At the request for shower towels we were told not to be provided. Cold shower water and heating always off if not requested. Too bad because the place deserves it.

La struttura è immersa nel verde incontaminato e il punto forte è l'accoglienza: l'ospitalità e i consigli di Giovanni, l'ottima cucina e la squisita compagnia di Caterina, l'aria di convivialità con gli altri ospiti e l'affettuosita dei due cagnoni hanno reso unico questo soggiorno! Un po di spirito di adattamento ripaga nel complesso l' esperienza! Da ripetere senz'altro. Very basic structure: the rooms have the bare minimum. The structure is surrounded by pristine greenery and the strong point is the welcome: the hospitality and advice of Giovanni, the excellent cuisine and the exquisite company of Caterina, the air of conviviality with the other guests and the affection of the two dogs made this stay unique! A little bit of adaptability pays off the experience overall! Definitely to be repeated.

La posizione è ottima per svolgere delle escursioni (c'è un percorso che dal rifugio porta al lago Duglia collegato con gli itinerari che proseguono verso le vette del Pollino). La strada per raggiungere il posto è dissestata nell'ultimo tratto, ma fattibile e soprattutto ne vale la pena, visto il panorama di cui godevamo durante la colazione. La colazione era ricca e abbondante come gli altri pasti (da segnalare gli antipasti buonissimi di Caterina). Giovanni è disponibile a dare consigli sugli itinerari e curiosità varie sul Parco vista la sua esperienza. Caterina è gentilissima, molto amichevole e si mette a piena disposizione degli ospiti. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo. P.s.: si tratta di un rifugio in montagna a strettissimo contatto con la natura quindi è ovvio che non si possono pretendere tutti i comfort di un albergo 5 stelle We stayed two nights in this refuge. The location is excellent for hiking (there is a path that leads from the refuge to Lake Duglia connected with the itineraries that continue towards the peaks of the Pollino). The road to reach the place is bumpy in the last stretch, but doable and above all it is worth it, given the view we enjoyed during breakfast. The breakfast was rich and plentiful like the other meals (Catherine's delicious appetizers are worth mentioning). Giovanni is available to give advice on itineraries and various curiosities about the Park given his experience. Caterina is very kind, very friendly and puts herself at the full disposal of the guests. Excellent value for money. P.s .: it is a mountain refuge in close contact with nature so it is obvious that you cannot expect all the comforts of a 5-star hotel
