S	Stefano Masnaghetti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Insieme a quelli di Carpignano Sesia e di Sizzano, il Castello-Ricetto (rispetto agli altri due è ancora oggi maggiormente visibile la sua origine di roccaforte difensiva) di Ghemme è il meglio conservato del novarese. Ed è anche il più esteso, potendo vantare una superficie di circa 12.000 mq e un reticolo di vie, vicoli e piazzette sui quali prospettano finestre ogivali e mura autenticamente quattrocentesche, costruite con mattoni e ciottoli di fiume disposti a spina di pesce. Anticamente, ai tempi delle guerre fra guelfi e ghibellini, era circondato da un fossato e vi si accedeva tramite un ponte levatoio, e a sud-ovest del complesso è ancora perfettamente visibile una torre cilindrica. L'atmosfera e gli odori stessi che si respirano sono incredibilmente autentici, e una visita è caldamente consigliata. Sono presenti anche diverse cantine dove si può degustare e acquistare il vino Ghemme docg, prodotto esclusivamente con uve di qualità nebbiolo dei vigneti di Ghemme. Un'assoluta eccellenza Very suggestive and characteristic place even if unfortunately little publicized and known. Vecchie stradine acciottolate, case di mattoni rossi in cui si possono trovare ancora oggi vecchie botteghe, enoteche e rivendita vino. Non molto grande ma estremamente ben conservato, un piacere passeggiare in questo piccolo viaggio indietro nel tempo! The ancient Ghemme ..... not to be missed! Old cobbled streets, red brick houses where old shops, wine bars and wine shops can still be found today. Not very big but extremely well preserved, a pleasure to walk on this little journey back in time!
