★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Cattanea è un bell'esempio di cascina fortificata giunta a noi quasi inalterata nella struttura base che disegna un quadrilatero con due torrette negli spigoli di sud-est e sud-ovest.
Le decorazioni a "dente di sega" e la tessitura a "spina di pesce" di parte dei muri indicano come secolo di costruzione il 1400 epoca in cui è presente in zona anche una famiglia Cattaneo, da cui - forse - il nome.
Nonostante la presenza di un buon agriturismo, parte della cascina versa da anni in condizioni di grave degrado. Un vero peccato.
 La Cattanea is a beautiful example of a fortified farmhouse which has come down to us almost unaltered in the basic structure which draws a quadrilateral with two turrets in the south-east and south-west corners.
The "sawtooth" decorations and the "herringbone" texture of part of the walls indicate the 1400s as the century of construction, in which there is also a Cattaneo family in the area, from which - perhaps - the name.
Despite the presence of a good farmhouse, part of the farmhouse has been in serious degradation for years. Such a pity.
