S	Sarah Mabsout on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to warn that this shop is dishonest and takes advantage of tourists. I was shocked when I read more reviews on google that states the same. We bought 20 items from the shop this Wednesday, paid and left without checking the bill. When we went back to the hotel, we discovered that all the items’ tags were ripped and billed at least 20% more than it’s original price at the shop. Horrible , horrible way to treat your customers.

I had purchased a pair of kids shoes (costs ~$200), and found a better pair down the street in the Armani junior (a much better store btw). When i went to return the shoes (unopened and as is in their box - they first said they won't accept returns on saturdays but come back within 10 days. I checked their website and it said they will process returns within 10 days if the item is returned in good condition. I went back another day (well within 10 days) and tried to return the shoes - which was still in the package, never opened. And they refused to accept it. The lady said 'in all of Italy, no one will accept returned goods'! My suggestion is to skip this place go a few 100 ft down the street to the Armani Junior.
F	F MZ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently had the worse experience ever in a retail store! Last week I saw an il gufo dress for my daughter on sale size 8, 94.50€. I asked the sales clerk to put it aside for me as I wanted to check out size 10, which they didn’t have any longer, so I went to the il gufo store to see if they had a 10. I didn’t make it back in time to return to the store that day, and il gufo only had a size 10, and I confirmed I needed an 8. I returned to Rome yesterday and went to the store to buy the dress. Fully expecting to pay 94.50€ the sales clerk charged me 140€ and what was once on sale became more than the original price! I questioned the charge and she told me as well as the clerk who originally helped me it was the new fall collection and there were small changes made to the dress. I had already paid with my card and they were insistant it was the new style. I felt like I was in a taxi and forgot to check if the driver had his meter on, which you want to do while in Rome! I left and checked out the web site and il gufo, there is no new model of the dress it was a lie that I knew they were telling me but as a tourist was taken advantage of. The same dress is on sale on their web site 94.50€. I had my Italian relatives call to see if they could credit my account and the manager was extremely rude stating the owner can charge a client whatever she feels. Now, how’s that for customer service!? I feel totally taken advantage of and will call il gufo to let them know the store is selling old merchandise at full price or whatever the owner thinks she can get from you!
