Personale poco efficiente durante un parto. So perfettamente di cosa parlo.
Inefficient staff during a birth. I know exactly what I'm talking about. They deserve a good report for what they have done.

Old-fashioned structure .. from the fixtures to the floors, everything tastes of antiquity but the kindness and professionalism of the staff is an excellence .. thanks ?

Esperienza negativa. Personale scorbutico, poca umanità, organizzazione molto scarsa.
Bad experience. And this I am sorry given all the praise heard on the matter. The only hospital nearby for those who live in the upper valley, (this says a lot about the services and general conditions of life for those who live up here) Become a COVID point for the whole of 2020, in 2021 the maternity ward reopens, but be careful, because if you take the COVID and you are the expectant mother, to give birth they send you (or rather, at your expense and expense, who cares if you live alone) in hospitals of Lecco or Monza (150/200 km from those who live in Bormio / Valdidentro), even if you have already passed the covid and have the document that certifies recovery. Grumpy staff, little humanity, very poor organization.

I recommend an empathy course to the entire covid department starting from the deputy director, head nurse to all the medical staff and nurses Rude, rude, grumpy people and I stop here because it would be too ... When the boss comes to work angry his team will be the same all day !!! You have to love what you do! Too bad because the hospital boasts a good reputation but I was really scared !!

Buona giornata.
Generally it is said "Everything is fine what ends well". Hospitalized between September and October 1983 in Neurology I was well followed by doctors and nurses on a therapeutic level but I do not want to mention names. The puddings arrived by cable car, but the cold of the mountain is not good for me. A doubt remains. The hospitalization for me, who wanted it in this hospital? I have a strong suspicion that the name begins ... with M .... Maybe it is you, who is not well today and needs a hospitalization here (ahaha). To put it mildly, I underwent an interrogation but I don't know if it was the best time to do it. We were in a hurry. In any case, I don't live in Bormio and I always prefer to stay in Brianza. When you are born in a locality, it is very difficult to make the drastic decision to move away from home afterwards. During my hospital stay, in the room of 6 people, I remember a young man who had a crisis at night due to diabetes, luckily I was awake and was able to raise the alarm. Good day.

In the highest part of the hospital there are some abandoned pavilions that were parts of the older Sondalo sanatorium for TBC. In the summer there're lot of guides that describes these parts of the old sanatorium that now are in completely degrade. Suggest a visit in these parts to discover the beautiful structures builded during the fascist epoca and now absolutely abandoned. Also very beautiful are the gardens, designed with long tracks trought the forest (the trees have been planted expressily to create a beautiful place to stay during the recovery). IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO GET INSIDE THE ABANDONED STRUCTURE, BUT THE GARDENS ARE FREE TO ACCES

Fell whilst skiing in Santa Caterina Valfurva, felt like I'd crunched something, my fianceè took me the 30km to the hospital which is located on the side of a mountain. Parked outside in front of the entrance and was directed to the trauma unit. The nurse and doctor were absolutely lovely, they apologised about their lack of English but it was absolutely fine for letting us know what happened and what was needed. I have a description of the pain and they take your BP, Temp and COVID test. They offered me some pain killers and said I'd need an X-Ray. Due to being British (non-EU) they said if I had an EHIC (still in date) or GHIC (global health insurance card) then I would not need to pay anything as it was covered under this. Otherwise you get a bill for treatment and then have to contact your insurance. After 5 minutes I was directed to have an X-Ray, that took about 10 minutes after I had to wait about 10 minutes, at which point a doctor gave me the results, a prescription for painkillers and asked if I wanted to keep a photo of the x-rays. The report they give is in Italian but Google translate exists so it is absolutely fine for interpreting the results. All the staff from start to finish were lovely and I cannot fault the speed and quality of care and the ease of access.

I am very satisfied with the services provided by the hospital. My teenage son was operated on for appendicitis here. The operation went very well and the scars are barely noticeable. The hospital staff is very professional and empathetic. The surrounding area is beautiful. The views from the windows are breathtaking.
