★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione intermedia che era situata all'interno della Grande Galleria dell'Appennino, in seguito dismessa per motivi legati alla sicurezza ma anche all'impraticabilità in quanto difficilmente raggiungibile e in maniera disagevole percorrendo una lunga scala composta da centinaia di gradini all'interno di alcuni pozzi inclinati, con sbocco presso Ca’ di Landino, una frazione intermedia tra Castiglione de’ Pepoli e Baragazza
Intermediate station that was located inside the Great Apennine Tunnel, later decommissioned for reasons related to safety but also to impracticability as it is difficult to reach and in an uncomfortable way along a long staircase consisting of hundreds of steps inside some inclined wells, with outlet at Ca 'di Landino, an intermediate fraction between Castiglione de' Pepoli and Baragazza

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah, come vorrei che venisse riaperta al pubblico! (e non solo io) ... Sarebbe un giusto, seppur piccolo, riconoscimento a chi versò sangue e sudore per realizzare la Direttissima negli anni tra il 1913 e il 1934, 99 i caduti in totale, ben più delle Stragi dell'Italicus e del Rapido 904. Una Stazione meravigliosa, perché unica al mondo, lascia stupefatti essendo "nelle viscere della terra". 1863 gradini all'interno dei "pozzi" per arrivare alla ex-Stazione sotterranea chiamata "Precedenze", oggi semplice 'posto di comunicazione' ricavata circa a metà della Grande Galleria dell'Appennino, alla progressiva chilometrica 46,848. Riaprirla, inoltre, sarebbe inaugurare un "turismo ferroviario" inteso non come nell'accezione utilitaristica-cioè servirsi dell'infrastruttura perché serve-ma come nel farne essa stessa l'oggetto della visita, al pari di un monumento, una scultura o la tela di un famoso pittore. Dobbiamo essere orgogliosi del Nostro Patrimonio, sia esso artistico, storico o tecnico-industriale, non solo sempre criticare.
Ah, how I wish it would be reopened to the public! (and not just me) ... It would be a fair, albeit small, recognition to those who shed blood and sweat to achieve the Direttissima in the years between 1913 and 1934, 99 fallen in total, far more than the Italicus Massacres and del Rapido 904. A marvelous station, because it is the only one in the world, leaves us amazed as it is "in the bowels of the earth". 1863 steps inside the "wells" to arrive at the former underground station called "Precedence", today a simple 'communication post' obtained about halfway up the Grand Gallery of the Apennines, to the progressive kilometer of 46.848. Moreover, reopening it would inaugurate a "railway tourism" understood not as in the utilitarian sense - that is, using the infrastructure because it serves - but in making it the object itself of the visit, like a monument, a sculpture or the canvas of a famous painter. We must be proud of Our Heritage, be it artistic, historical or technical-industrial, not only always criticize.
