★ ★ ★ ★ ★ non funziona bene ed non ci sono controlli. molte persone entrano senza pagare correndo dietro le persone. sopratutto sorrento. cosa odiosa spero che metteranno controllori fissi sulla Circumvesuviana sia alle entrata che nel Treno. farebbero almeno 100 multe al giorno se entrano di nascosto. spero che un giorno troverò un controllore fisso ed potrò aggiungere 1 o 2 stelle.
 it doesn't work well and there are no controls. many people come in without paying by running after people. especially sorrento. odious thing I hope they will put fixed controllers on the Circumvesuviana both at the entrance and in the Train. they would make at least 100 fines a day if they enter secretly. I hope one day I will find a fixed controller and I will be able to add 1 or 2 stars.

I traveled from Sorrento to arcades. Too bad that foreigners occupy more 'places with their luggage. It only needs a tour of capitreno to free places

Egészen jó áron lehet vele utazgatni a Campania körzetben. A helyekért közelharcot vívnak az emberek, de egy idő után rutint lehet szerezni a helyiektől?
Dirty, crunchy, crumbly, crunchy, inaccurate, but it comes and takes you everywhere around Vezuv.
You can travel to Campania in a very good price. People are struggling for places, but after a while it can be routine for the locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you bear in mind that most services do not actually run to any formal timetable in Italy then this is an extremely cost effective mode of transport.
Route used:
Castallammare di stabia - sorrento
Timings:
Think of the timetable as more of a rough guide. Generally the trains arrive and depart +/- 10 minutes. Our first train arrived 12 minutes early and set off a few minutes later, leaving us somewhat confused. The worst was a 40 minute delay of which no-one seemed overly bothered about.
Safety:
We had no issues at all, one train was a bit rough looking, most were ok. A bit like the London underground. We saw lots saying that it was unsafe and lots of money had been stolen, isn't this the same everywhere? Don't get distracted, keep an eye on your belongings and don't carry around a lot of money.
Cost:
The big plus, €100 for a taxi from Naples to sorrento or a €7 train ticket. Or £30 taxi vs €2 train ride on our usual trip.
