Was there in 2016. Interesting, but a bit run down. And the train was not any better. Felt a bit like a third world country but less crowded.

Very standard and minimal station, it has a "bar" how italians say it. Besides that, only functions as where trains will sometimes stop and you can get in.

Got picked pocketed by these lovely fellas and there is no one around to help. Italy is beautiful but this commuter train is not safe for anyone including locals.

There are several timetables. Trains stop sometimes according the time table. But usually the trains stop randomized. It's a save Place and you can buy your tickets in the stationstore. There are NO elevators and there is no information about the departure and Times. But you can ask the local people.

Geograpically this place could be comfortable base for exploring the coast area and scenery. From the waterfront you can see the Vesuvio Volcano. It is beautifull as decor for the pictures. There is wide beach with black sand covered with a lot of trash. No seems to care about this important tourist attraction. It could be a nice beach. But no one used this beach. Yeah Napels metropolitan area is famed for its pizza and trash and waste. The city is very bad connected by public transport. The two train stations are not connected with. The city has been served by two seperated lines. The line with the most frequent (every 30 min) connections is always very busy. The train is actually a metro line.
