★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proprio stamattina sono stata qui per vedere i luoghi dove è stato girato quello che (per me) è il film capolavoro del mitico Carlo Verdone "Un sacco bello" e questo incrocio con Via Garibaldi è proprio quello dove il protagonista Leo viene quasi investito rovesciando tutto l'olio ed incontra la spagnola Marisol... devo dire che questa strada è molto caratteristica e molto trafficata e oggi come allora come diciamo noi romani "t'arrotano" ??? e comunque è un sacco bellissima

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa porta il cui nome antico era "Porta Septimiana" fu costruita da Settimo Severo e col tempo subì ovviamente il passare del tempo e delle intemperie fino alla sua ricostruzione secondo l'attuale forma, con merlature ghibelline, su ordine di Papa Alessandro IV Borgia nel 1498. La porta in sé è molto bella e caratteristica e molto ben tenuta, presenta anche una specie di affresco su una facciata, di cui purtroppo si riconosce ben poco, con sopra un tettuccio che un minimo da protezione.
This gate whose ancient name was "Porta Septimiana" was built by Settimo Severus and over time obviously suffered the passage of time and bad weather until its reconstruction according to its current form, with Ghibelline battlements, on the orders of Pope Alexander IV Borgia in 1498. The door itself is very beautiful and characteristic and very well maintained, it also has a kind of fresco on one facade, of which unfortunately it is very little recognizable, with a roof on top that a minimum of protection.
