Fu eretta nel 1300, sorge nelle vicinanze di una torre merlata, con antiche mura urbane medievali che girano intorno alla città per circa 5 km, l'arco a tutto sesto.
The door of San Francesco is the main access to the city of Assisi, both for pedestrians and for cars authorized for loading and unloading luggage in hotel facilities. It was erected in 1300, stands near a crenellated tower, with ancient medieval urban walls that run around the city for about 5 km, the round arch.
