★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Porta Nolana is a small market place offering fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, clothes.. in short, everything one would need to cook its lunch or to get dressed.
Sellers are not pushing to buy things and are in Napoletan lazy style waiting for you to come to them.
Prices of goods are affordable, low and in my experience are rounded to eur, without cents. The only thing you get a bit concerned when walking by the stands is the freshness of fish and meat, as they might not be refrigerated and flies are flying all over. We bought some fish for dinner and had no problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the Porta Nolana market last year. It's one of the authentic and very characteristic places of Naples. The most important thing is that there you can find stunning variety of fresh fish and sea fruits (some of them still alive), vegetables and fruit. There all kind of stuff you could need. There are also some local places where to eat fresh sea fruits.
