Il nome in greco della porta, che tradotto in italiano può significare baci o pace e amicizia, è quello che esprimono e che vorrebbero gli abitanti sia di Sternatia che di tutto il Salento. Non è rimasto molto, ma è interessante una visita. Oramai questa porta si è integrata nella modernità del paese quindi spicca poco rispetto ad altri edifici circostanti ma vale la pena fare una passeggiata nei dintorni e visitare questa porta.
