★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ponte costruito dopo che i tedeschi in ritirata fecero saltare quello vecchio. A differenza di quelli di Firenze non conserva nulla del ponte originale. Divieto di transito ai veicoli con peso superiore alle 18 tonnellate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rappresenta l'unico ponte che collega i comuni a sud dell'Arno con quelli al nord dopo il ponte all'indiano. Un assurdità che dura ormai da 40 anni con una mobilità locale in ginocchio. Le amministrazioni a tutti i livelli non trovano un misero accordo per liberare la popolazione da quest'incubo quotidiano.
It represents the only bridge that connects the municipalities south of the Arno with those to the north after the Indian bridge. An absurdity that has lasted for 40 years with local mobility on its knees. Administrations at all levels do not find a paltry agreement to free the population from this daily nightmare.

trasandata.Ci sono anni di polemiche e
manifestazioni pubbliche per la richiesta con la Regione Toscana di nuovo ponte e viabilità in quanto impossibile vivere per lo smog delle auto che transitano 24 ore al giorno per un numero di circa 5000/6000.
Impossibile vivere con l aria irrespirabile....
