Inoltre all'esterno la vecchia cascina con annessa la Pieve hanno una architettura medievale bellissima, peccato che così non si può dire per l'interno dove il tempo ed i tanti rimaneggiamenti hanno poi distrutto l'opera iniziale, lasciandola molto spoglia. Da sistemare anche gli ulteriori fabbricati annessi. The church is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Lake Garda with a breathtaking view (the fourth star). Also outside the old farmhouse with the parish church have a beautiful medieval architecture, too bad that it can not be said for the interior where the time and the many alterations have then destroyed the initial work, leaving it very bare. The additional outbuildings should also be set up.

M	Mari Ube on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avrei dato cinque stelle se avessi potuto visitare l'interno per avere un parere globale ma purtroppo era chiusa (domenica pomeriggio). Non si pretende. Il luogo è raggiungibile in auto senza alcun problema, la tenuta in cui si trova l'edificio dispone di parcheggio. La chiesa si apprezza comunque maggiormente giungendo a piedi, percorrendo il bel viale alberato incantato, cogliendo le sue forme semplici e a me care (dato che amo lo stile romanico). Opera realizzata pietra su pietra. È immersa tra uliveti da un lato e il panorama lacustre dall'altro; a nord-est è ben visibile il castello di Padenghe, sulla sua rupe. Meraviglia! La chiesetta ha una facciata a ovest, a capanna con unico ingresso sormontato da una lunetta e fiancheggiato da due stipiti monolitici di marmo rosso di Verona. Tra la lunetta e l'oculo superiore è incassata una croce, scolpita su una lastra e scalpellata in più punti. A destra è addossato alla chiesa l'edificio di accoglienza. Un grande spazio prativo circonda il tempio a nord e a est, verso il lago. Qui si trova la deliziosa abside romanica, con la caratteristica di avere due sole monofore (la terza non fu mai realizzata). I would have given it five stars if I could have visited the inside to get an overall opinion but unfortunately it was closed (Sunday afternoon). It is not expected. The place can be reached by car without any problem, the estate where the building is located has parking. However, the church is best appreciated by arriving on foot, along the beautiful enchanted tree-lined avenue, grasping its simple forms and dear to me (since I love the Romanesque style). Work made stone by stone. It is surrounded by olive groves on one side and the lake panorama on the other; to the north-east the castle of Padenghe is clearly visible, on its cliff. Wonder! The church has a gabled facade to the west with a single entrance surmounted by a lunette and flanked by two monolithic jambs of red Verona marble. Between the lunette and the upper oculus there is a cross, carved on a slab and chiseled in several places. On the right, the reception building is leaning against the church. A large meadow surrounds the temple to the north and east, towards the lake. Here is the delightful Romanesque apse, with the characteristic of having only two single lancet windows (the third was never built).
