★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pieve stupenda,posto meraviglioso(si alternano cipressi a ulivi e vigne) purtroppo in totale abbandono...recentemente anche visitato dai ladri che contribuiranno a l'inevitabile crollo di tutto il complesso. Nel passato remoto ha subito molti saccheggi,posta sul confine fra il Chianti e la Val d'Arbia, è sempre stata teatro di scontri e dispute fra fiorentini e senesi. Originariamente il culto era dedicato a Santa Maria(una leggenda narra l'apparizione della Madonna). La possente torre dove sono collocate le campane faceva parte di un complesso più antico e la chiesa era a più navate.
 Pieve stupendous, wonderful place (cypresses alternate with olive trees and vineyards) unfortunately in total abandonment ... recently also visited by thieves who will contribute to the inevitable collapse of the whole complex. In the remote past it has suffered many looting, located on the border between Chianti and Val d'Arbia, has always been the scene of clashes and disputes between Florentines and Sienese. Originally the cult was dedicated to Santa Maria (a legend narrates the apparition of the Madonna). The mighty tower where the bells are located was part of an older complex and the church had multiple naves.
