Panino dall'alimentari General Market in piazza S.Nicola, quella della fontana con l'airone: salumi & formaggi TOP; caffè preparato con gran cura nel bar dell'altra piazza. Trip organized by the WWF, a very heterogeneous public, from expert hikers who 'pawed' to elderly or not at all equipped people who held back ... but it is the 'beauty of democracy'! Sandwich from the General Market in piazza S.Nicola, that of the fountain with the heron: salami & cheeses TOP; coffee prepared with great care in the bar on the other square.

E’ anche una Zona di Protezione Speciale (ZPS IT222296), ampia 3.135 ettari. Il dito è particolarmente interessante in quanto presenta fenomeni carsici, come il canyon del torrente Quirino, la cascata di San Nicola, le grotte di Pozzo della Neve e Cul di Bove che sono fra i più profondi abissi d’Europa. Purtroppo quando sono andata io il Quirino e la cascata di San Nicola erano senz'acqua. The WWF oasis of Guardiaregia-Campochiaro is a Regional Reserve The Oasis is located within a Special Conservation Area (IT222287) in the Municipalities of Guardiaregia and Campochiaro (CB). It is also a Special Protection Area (SPA IT222296), 3,135 hectares wide. The finger is particularly interesting as it presents karst phenomena, such as the canyon of the Quirino stream, the San Nicola waterfall, the caves of Pozzo della Neve and Cul di Bove which are among the deepest abysses in Europe. Unfortunately, when I went, the Quirino and the San Nicola waterfall were without water.
