Pievasciata is a fraction of the Municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the province of Siena. Dedicated to Santa Maria ad Sciatam or Ischiatam from the Ischia oaks, it found itself at the center of the war between Siena and Florence. Today it is a typical Tuscan landscape and hosts particular works of modern art.
