★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I agree (Of course we do - I'm no fool) that this has to be one of the finest old world Italian bakeries we have found in Rome, regardless of neighborhood. Several of the pastries my wife hasn't seen since childhood visits to her Italian grandmothers kitchen. Pastries don't get much better than this.
