Quando entro in chiesa, cerco sempre il ritratto di Maria. Per me rappresenta l’amore materno, il sentimento ancestrale.
Qui, la sacra effigie è raffigurata con il mantello di una bella tonalità di azzurro che le scende sulla fronte, il volto dolcissimo che accenna un sorriso mentre stringe il suo Bambino, che ha un bellissimo viso, e i piedini che rapiscono lo sguardo.
Il tempio, imponente e di un gusto semplice e funzionale, è sorto per la grande devozione verso la Madonna delle Grazie, il cui dipinto è ancora venerato ininterrottamente da quattro secoli.
Fa strano che l'esterno e l'abside non siano stati perfezionati, forse per lasciare in vista i mattoni provenienti dalle vicine fornaci che hanno dato il nome alla chiesa.
 Always in my heart
When I enter the church, I always look for the portrait of Mary. For me it represents maternal love, the ancestral sentiment.
Here, the sacred effigy is depicted with the cloak of a beautiful shade of blue that falls on her forehead, the sweet face that hints at a smile while holding her Child, who has a beautiful face, and the feet that kidnap the gaze.
The temple, imposing and of a simple and functional taste, was built for the great devotion to the Madonna delle Grazie, whose painting has still been revered continuously for four centuries.
It is strange that the exterior and the apse have not been perfected, perhaps to leave the bricks coming from the nearby kilns that gave the church its name.
