★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a room with 3 single beds. Was given a queen and a rollaway. My 5'11" teen was hanging off the rollaway as i shared the other bed with my mother. Shower was so small you couldn't turn around without hitting the knob, either changing the temperature or turning it off.
Room was hot and stuffy and although they advertise air conditioning, it didn't work and we were advised to open the windows - no bug screens and on a busy street with a lot of noise. Did not sleep well at all. Maybe a different room location would have been tolerable.
We spent one night here, cancelled the other 2, and found other accommodations. Only plus was breakfast and location if you want to be near Vatican.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was supposed to be air-conditioning but upon arrival the room was very warm. After trying to set the air, and asking because it wasn't working, we found out the system was turned off. Turning it on was not possible and we were told to open the windows but with the noise was even worse and sleeping was almost impossible. We asked for a 3 person room since we have a baby and it was a standard 2 person room at best, we could almost not place our stroller, let alone that a baby bed would fit. Breakfast was kinda ok, but the service was again not nice. Probably the only thing really nice was the location which is very close to the Vatican. We leave totaly disappointed and we had no rest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only redeeming quality is the location. I've stayed at hostels in third world countries better than this. The wifi sucks (my 2g international data works better), the air conditioner is basically a fan (if you specifically request the A/C remote control, which they hide from you), the beds are hard and there was a used bandaid that wasn't mine attached to the "clean" comforter. I'm sure there are better budget friendly places to stay. Also, the pictures only represent the remodeled rooms, not the room you'll probably stay in.
Good luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The new rooms are quite okay, but really very small though. The older ones are not worth any money. Make sure you get new rooms if you are booking there. We had some issues at the beginning, but the staff was very friendly and helped us out at any time. You get easily to a grocery store, a pastry store and several restaurants and little coffee places. For taking the public transport you have the bus and the train at a 5 minutes walk and the underground at approx. 10-15 mins walk from the Holiday House. The Breakfast was good. Fresh coffee, Milk, juices, cereals and usual stuff are served at a buffet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice, cheap and super close to Vatican City. If you don't mind walking, you can see all of ancient Rome. Only thing of note is air conditioning didn't seem to work. Come to find out from front desk, they have AC on a timer from 5pm-11pm, so fair warning on that if visiting in summer like we did. Overall, we would stay here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just about 4min from St Pietro train station it’s easy to find although not so obvious we took half an hour to find because we got there during a rain and the people from the fair around did not know and my map was buggy but we finally found it. It’s simple nice and simple. There’s a lift and the staff is so nice. Especially the kitchen staff. The place is really family friendly. We really enjoyed staying there because every day at every time of the day we could just walk to St Peter’s, take pictures and then have lunch, shop and hop on and hop off. We visited all the sites and were easily able to find our way back. The rooms are small but okay and they have heater/Ac just ask at the reception for the remote. The breakfast is great and it’s a buffet with everything you can name. Going back to the airport was a child’s play with all kids. The staff at the station speaks English. You
