A	Ann Sharf on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Parione is still excellent and it was our pleasure to finally return to firenze and see Marco, Danilo, chef Giovanni and all the staff who continue to be so wonderful! Best news, but no surprise the food was top notch! We had all our usuals, bistecca Florentine, truffle pasta, spinach, bruschetta and salami antipasto to start, everything including the wine was perfetto! We can’t recommend this place enough! This has had to been our 20th visit to eat here!! So happy you’ve come out from the pandemic just as excellent as before!! Thank you Il Parione!!

Delicious food, wonderful service, cheerful and clear communication even with me, an American with poor Italian language skills. If you like rich chocolate, the chocolate tile dessert is great!

He tried to get me to buy a EU1,200 bottle of wine. I told him no thank you. Then he pushed for a EU600 and I again declined. I finally agreed to an under EU200. When we got the bill it was a EU500. He brought biscotti, which we did not order, as a “graccia” and charged us. He asked for extra money as tip. Needless to say it soiled our evening. I attached the bottle of $600 wine. It was good but not that good. I’ve asked servers for suggestions for years. I’m rethinking that. The 3-star is because everything else but the server was good.

We had the most charming waiter by the name of Otto and he made us feel very comfortable and welcome, he is truly a gem. We started with a truffle and pasta course and then we had an amazing steak course that we shared with potatoes. We then had an espresso and grappa. It was honestly one of, if not the best dining experience that we can remember having.

We came for our daughter's birthday and they made the night special. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to others and would go back if I have the opportunity.

The atmosphere was awesome, our food was amazing and the service was equally fantastic. Otto helped us navigate the menu and in addition to spot on recommendations, his personality was a pleasant addition to a special evening. I not only recommend Trattoria Parione, I recommend going out of your way to add this spot to your next trip to Florence.

And the steak I don’t need to even say, it was the show stopper. I wish I remembered our servers name- he was witty and very attentive. Made for a fun dining experience. We splurged and got the steak for 2 and it did not disappoint. Yes there are other tourists here, but when you are in Florence this is a common thing! We ended up talking to fellow diners for awhile which also made for nice experience. Would definitely go back here!
