J	John Bates on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting history of all the popes. Good audio guide and nice tour of the rooms in the castle. If you go in the tour of the grounds be prepared for a brisk walk.
K	KEVIN SCREENE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice place to go visit, as its still a little unknown so less tourist. It’s also nice in the summer to get out of the heat of rome as its cooler up here. The castle its self is open to see the old summer house of the popes, you can even see the popes bedroom pretty cool, its self guided so you can spend 10 mins to 1 hour inside depending how interested you are. The gardens are beautiful and worth a tour in the bus around them, It over looks lake Albano just beautiful, some nice restaurants in the area. You could easy spend half a day here Worth a visit even if not going into the castle

S	Silviu Berari on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I scheduled a visit to Gandolfo Palace on a day that overlapped with one of the Italians' days off! It was a very busy day on the streets and at the entrance to the palace. That's why we chose to visit only the gardens, for the palace, we had to wait another three hours. So we took a long walk through the 44 hectares of park that can be visited, on a wonderful spring day, accompanied by a guide who told us many interesting things about these gardens. The rest of 11 hectares are private , no one has access exept the Pope ! I highly recommend visiting these gardens. The walk lasted about an hour and a half. You should know that in these gardens scenes from the series "The Two Popes" were filmed!

The first level shows papal attire, paintings and different accessories from the papal wardrobe. The second level shows the Papal apartments and it is a the place where very important dignitaires have stayed while visiting the Holy See.
