G	Gianluca Calabresi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Palazzo antico vicino al Polo monumentale di Viterbo,ci si arriva tramite un ponte in pietra che collega il palazzo papale,la cattedrale e il museo archeologico al resto della città. Purtroppo è un sito non visitabile (sede della USL), ma si fa notare per la sua bellezza. Ancient palace near the monumental pole of Viterbo, it can be reached via a stone bridge that connects the papal palace, the cathedral and the archaeological museum to the rest of the city. Unfortunately it is a site that cannot be visited (home of the USL), but it is noted for its beauty.

A parte il costo ridicolo per un palazzo storico del genere (€5) perché nella pubblica amministrazione non trovo mai un pos per pagare? Non dovrebbe essere obbligatorio? Male male My vote is only about the management, the place is wonderful. Apart from the ridiculous cost for such a historic building (€ 5) why do I never find a way to pay in the public administration? Shouldn't it be mandatory? Bad bad

Incantevole sia di giorno che di sera,nonostante non sia il posto più frequentato di sera conserva allo stesso modo un fascino e trasmette tranquillità Beautiful architecture, beautiful glance. Enchanting both during the day and in the evening, although it is not the most popular place in the evening it still retains a charm and transmits tranquility

Alle muren zijn uitgerust met mooie fresco's met verschillende voorstellingen uit het verleden maar ook kaarten van de wereld continenten. Jammer dat alle zalen leeg staan, met wat opvulling of meubilair zou het nog mooier overkomen. From the outside it is not really inviting to go in but once inside you will be surprised. All the walls are decorated with beautiful frescoes with different scenes from the past as well as maps of the world continents. It is a pity that all the halls are empty, with some filling or furniture it would look even better.

Lo troverete lungo la via di accesso a piazza San Lorenzo, a ridosso del Ponte del Duomo, l’antico cavalcavia fondato su massi di origine etrusca. realizzato in pietra e inserito in nel bellissimo contesto medievale, il palazzo rappresenta un’affascinante armonia di elementi architettonici di periodi diversi. Dovrebbe risalire al 1200 e il passaggio del palazzo alla famiglia Farnese – probabilmente – avvenne nel 1431. Ranuccio Farnese venne incaricato di difendere Viterbo dagli attacchi di Fortebraccio e Giacomo di Vico. I figli di Ranuccio, Francesco Gabriele e Pier Luigi, dimorarono a Viterbo. Esso riassume i tratti principali dell’architettura medievale, come l’uso del profferlo, ma presenta al contempo elementi architettonici di altri periodi storici. Su una facciata la suddivisione su due livelli con le bifore al primo piano, di profilo gotico, e quelle del secondo, più classiche, a tutto sesto e traforate. M	Marcus Hurley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty and large building, almost next to the papal palace. However when we visited, Jan 31st, the gates were padlocked and the whole building looked abandoned. Quite a tragic waste for such a lovely structure.
