Usato per eventi e mostre di quadri , ma secondo la mia idea poco sfruttato , dato il posto in cui si trova. Ogni volta che fanno un evento non lo pubblicizzano mai, lo vieni a sapere solo perché ci passi davanti. Ancient building, but recently renovated. The place is beautiful. Used for events and exhibitions of paintings, but according to my idea little exploited, given the place where it is located. Ormai di proprietà comunale, dopo anni di abbandono e chiusura è stato discretamente recuperato sia dal punto di vista strutturale, sia sul piano formale. Niente di particolarmente innovativo, in verità. L'immagine resa, soprattutto negli arredi, è di un "antico" sobrio, diciamo un arrangiamento in stile. Più apprezzabile il piano terra, in origine utilizzato come rimessa dei cavalli della originaria famiglia proprietaria, i marchesi D'Amico. Oggi è una zona esposizione con una bella pavimentazione in pietra. Al primo piano c'è il salone grande, dove in una giornata particolarmente calda come quella in cui sono andato (per presentare un libro), purtroppo non siamo stati a nostro agio. All'ultimo piano, invece, c'è la biblioteca comunale con annessa sala lettura. Da visitare. Nice place, in an excellent position at the Marina di Milazzo. Now owned by the city, after years of abandonment and closure it has been discreetly recovered both from a structural and a formal point of view. Nothing particularly innovative, actually. The image rendered, especially in the furnishings, is of a sober "antique", let's say an arrangement in style. The ground floor was more valuable, originally used as a shed for the horses of the original owner family, the marquises D'Amico. Today it is an exhibition area with a beautiful stone paving. On the first floor there is the large living room, where on a particularly hot day like the one I went to (to present a book), unfortunately we were not at ease. On the top floor, however, there is the municipal library with an adjoining reading room. To visit.
