Palladian jewel, commissioned by a lawyer, then passed to the Valmarana family. It consists of a villa, guesthouse and Italian garden. Frescoes by Tiepolo, father and son, and later quadrature. In addition to the splendid allegorical cycles painted by the hand of the two masters of Venetian painting, the interiors house precious chandeliers and chinoiserie. Note the more charged style of his son Tiepolo who integrates "popular" elements into the painting of the "gentlemen". Guide recommended. Admire the proportions of the villa, albeit remodeled after Palladio: the magic of the architect to create a huge structure from afar, where small in reality. The villa is named after the stone statues of little dwarves along the walls. The legend of their origin ... poignant and romantic ... does not spoil!
