β β β β β Great place to hike to from central Vicenza. Wonderful art comparisons of a father and son art duo. Interesting statues of dwarves along the villa walls and accompanying myth about why. Hire a guide or take a tour. Its a nice walk from there on to La Rotonda.

β β β β β After visiting this villa, my honest opinion is the villa is well maintained but there is nothing extra ordinary.. Just few paintings that doesn't make sense and the price for entering doesn't justify at all... Not worthy to visit

β β β β β Excellent overall view of contrasting styles of fresco by father and son Tieopolo. The video guide was informative and interesting. There were an unexpected amount of flying beetles indoors that was slightly annoying.

β β β β β Villa Valmarana ai Nani is lesser known than ita close neighbor, the Villa Rotonda. However, the villa is very beautiful, with very picturesque gardens. What I found to be more impressive, in terms of interior spaces, is the secondary house for guests with the inter-connected rooms and the views towards the valley. The staff is super nice and friendly, and the place also has a bar/terraces with snacks and drink, a very important aspect considering the fact that the place ia quite remote.

β β β β β We visited yesterday. We purchased our tickets from a very nice man and headed over to the villa to start exploring. The lady at the villa desk asked us something in Italian which we did not understand. I asked her in Italian to repeat it. I still couldn't get it so I pulled out my phone to bring up conversation in Google translate. She said forget it I will speak English. Asked us where we were from
We said we live in Vicenza. She sarcastically said you girls live in Italy and don't speak Italian. I told her in Italian we spoke a little but were still studying. She was very RUDE to us and should not be working with the public. The lady in the bookshop was nice and the man in the first building went out of his way to be sure we did not miss any rooms. The villa itself is beautiful but we definitely had a less than pleasant experience due to the rudeness of someone who should not have been working in tourism.
