Macchina messa apposto in una giornata.. Cordiali ed efficaci! Soddisfatta del servizio!

Sono cliente da tempo ed ho sempre riscontrato serietà e professionalità e non ultimo, un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

In data 19/01/2019 ho portato la mia PUNTO presso questa officina. L’intervento da svolgere mi sembrava semplice per un professionista del settore in quanto si trattava di una normale sostituzione delle ganasce posteriori. Ho chiesto, prima di svolgere l’intervento, se fosse possibile poter portare io stesso i pezzi necessari in quanto li ho acquistati presso un ricambista FIAT ufficiale di mia assoluta. Il titolare ha accettato regolarmente e ci siamo accordati per la giornata di sabato quantificandomi il tempo di 1 ora e mezza al massimo. Al termine del servizio ho ritirato il mezzo e ho preso l’autostrada, ma dopo 10 km ho iniziato a sentire un forte rumore provenire dalle ruote posteriori e mi sono reso conto di essere completamente senza freni posteriori! Uscito immediatamente dall’autostrada sono riuscito ad arrivare a casa e posteggiando in discesa ho scoperto anche di non avere più il freno mano funzionante!!! (prima del intervento funzionava regolarmente) Ho ripreso la macchina sono corso dal meccanico il quale mi fa presente che essendo stato sempre li fuori dall’officina gli procuravo uno stato d’ansia e quindi era colpa mia se aveva fatto il lavoro male..… A parte il fatto che non è vero visto sono stato fuori dalla loro officina per circa 1 ora con una temperatura di circa 3 gradi e solo l’ora successiva ho chiesto di rientrare e aspettare fuori dalla porta, credo non sia concepibile trovare una scusa così puerile per un errore così grave visto che avrei potuto avere un serio incidente stradale. Il meccanico mi fa presente di non poter fare nulla perché era tardi, che ci volevano altre 3 ore per sistemare e il sabato pomeriggio non lavora, ma se volevo potevo lasciargliela e ritornare lunedì (tutta questa dichiarazione davanti ad altre persone che assistevano alla scena.) Detto ciò rendendomi conto del suo atteggiamento strafottente ho dovuto portare la macchina presso un'altra officina disponibile a lavorare il sabato e a riparare al danno con ulteriore costo. Consiglio questo meccanico per gli amanti dell’avventura e a chi vuole vivere l’emozione di girare senza freni posteriori! Sconsigliato.

Il servizio 24 ore su 24 non è stato soddisfacente: chiamati il sabato pomeriggio per una gomma forata, non coprivano una distanza di 4,6 km. Arrivati in sede, erano chiusi. Richiamati, hanno chiesto 140€ di sola chiamata. Insomma, ognuno gestisce la propria attività come vuole ma come potenziale cliente non sono stata assolutamente soddisfatta.

If you ever have car problems as a tourist in Italy and you are close to Genoa (Genova) please visit P&D service s.n.c.. After the yellow Check Engine warning light on the dashboard of our Mini Cooper showed we were looking for an Italian garage to uncover the issues the Cooper had. One of the challenges we faced was finding an Italian garage in the Liguria region in which at least one of the employees can speak English. After stopping by at 2 Italian garages we found P&D service s.n.c., Alessandro works there who can speak English fluently. At first we only wanted to know the severity of the issues the Cooper had. Alessandro read out the car’s data and told us it has quite some issues related to the distribution chain, waterpomp and service belt. We were in doubt fixing the car yet the car was making weird noises as well. He told us that it is better to fix the car as we had a long journey ahead of us (Netherlands) and the distribution chain is not going to last that long. However, we could drive out of the garage as well without being charged for reading out the Cooper’s data — which was, let’s be honest, a kind gesture from his part as we took some valuable time from him. We decided to fix the car as the risk of driving back was too high. We brought the car into the garage on a Wednesday, we needed to be back in the Netherlands on Sunday and we still had to cover over a 1.000 kilometers. The timespan was tight yet he assured us the Cooper will be repaired latest Friday evening. We are not car experts yet he elaborated on every detail that needed to happen and was transparent about the Cooper’s repair and costs upfront (e.g. new car parts needed to be ordered from his supplier, the Cooper’s distribution chain needed to be replaced, he expected the labour hours to be 4, new fuel needed to be run through the engine et cetera). It just felt like a very honest, reliable and fair deal and it was! Friday evening the Cooper was indeed repaired as promised. The Check Engine light was off, the car did not make any weird noises anymore and the car just drove smoothly again. Besides that, he made pictures to show how the car parts in question used to look and how they look after the car’s repair. We made it home safely to the Netherlands, we did not face any car problems on the way back and we are still enjoy driving the Cooper today (and hopefully a lot longer). P&D service s.n.c. is truly a gentlemen’s garage, they genuinely want to help you for a fair price.
