Fu inaugurata il 20 aprile del 1925 alla presenza del Re e di tantissimi suoi concittadini. E' una struttura in bronzo posta su un basamento in marmo dove è incastonata una piastra in cui è possibile ancora leggere i versi "Qui giaccio io, Nasone, che scherzando, cantai teneri amori e trovai la morte per il mio talento". Non ti sia di peso, o passante, se mi hai amato, dire: le ossa di Nasone abbiano dolce riposo. Molto ben tenuta ed ammirata sia dagli abitanti locali e sia dai tantissimi turisti che, per la posizione centrale in cui si trova, é facilissimo incontrarla.
